Watergate broke 43 years ago. Focusing on it now is like talking about the Teapot Dome Scandal during the Nixon-Humphrey race. Except for the fact that every scandal, real or fake, instantly has a “-gate” appended as a suffix, the media will get little traction from the targeting.
