My assessment or gut feeling of Comey, speaking of eyes, he appears to be playing a role, or acting. And seems to enjoy the attention on occasion. Looking at him closely, even when he’s worn down or acting beat with a tough question, he still seems to be acting or playing some drama game. While at the same time he does not depict someone in a serious situation, from my perspective. His eyes seem to radiate that picture form me. That’s what I get.

He’s an odd one, a bit spooky. He’s like 7 feet tall. Maybe he got hit on the head one too many times by ceiling fans.

"Something very deep seated (depression?) and wrong was evident in his eyes,"

It's called guilt.

Thank you for firing a shot out the tube, and crushing the enemy, dead in their tracks.

It was just President Trump taking it to the limit, one more time.
He had a show where he did this every week. This is why the Democrats and their #nevertumper allies fear and loathe him.
I hope Comey shows up at his office and finds his stuff in bankers boxes outside his door, the locks changed.
Go Trump! Kick their sorry butts.

Fake news!! There is no tv on while someone is making a speech. Even if there was, you wouldn’t be close enough to watch!

"Comey’s downfall was flaccidity."

He suffered from penal dysfunction.

What alternative universe do you live in if you think this hurts Trump. Too funny. Trump bossed this move.

But, yes, I suppose we might hear tomorrow from some ‘rat District court judge granting a restraining order from a ‘rat attorney with too much time on his hands claiming President Trump was insensitive and a big meanie ...

[[any one being fired should be privately informed first, before the street, office, media, etc. finds out.]]

Yeah comey’s staff really sucked at their job- the trump team did try- twice- to tell comey in private- apparently comey’s staff went to the press before telling comey he was fired-

Comey is definitely among the unusual political casualties. There are so many from the Obama era that are easy to despise. But from my perspective, Comey isn’t one of them. His story is either incredibly shallow or nefariously deep — and I can’t tell.

Why do you say he is a "political casualty"? If it were just politics Trump would have already fired him. My take is he was fired for incompetence and it would not have mattered about his politics. He did too many stupid things to stay on.

[[It feeds the storyline that Trump doesn’t do things well.]]

Why? Was it trump who leaked the firing to the press? He tried twice to get in touch with comey privately- but comey’s staff could have called comey- knowing that comey was givign a speech- and given him the news- but they didn’t- Trump didn’t do anything wrong- it was very likely comey’s staff who contacted the press with hte info-

[[My assessment or gut feeling of Comey, speaking of eyes, he appears to be playing a role, or acting. And seems to enjoy the attention on occasion.]]

Comey absolutely was acting- He enjoyed his ‘power’ that he wielded- he enjoyed having everyone afraid of him- he enjoyed trying to be the next Hoover

[[While at the same time he does not depict someone in a serious situation,]]

he had absolute contempt for everyone- He was cocky and arrogant- He felt HE was above the law- and routinely abused his authority=- He stepped over the liens several times, and then had the nerve to stand before the public and declare that he was doing so ‘to protect the integrity of the FBI”- He truly enjoyed abusing his power and thinking that there wasn’t anything anyone could do about it-

The man was drunk with power- he got a rude awakening-

Comey brought this on himself. The acting director, McCabe, needs to go next since he will never work on behalf of the American people and only on behalf of the dem party and their operatives.

I really want to punch anderson cooper in the nose for his treatment of Kellyanne during that interview. I despise the leftist media; particularly CNN; the biggest pain in the ass of the free world.

If I was doing the firing, upon arrival at LAX, the senior agent on scene would have been directed to obtain the badge, credentials and firearm (if he carries one) and, in exchange would give him a one way commercial airline ticket and a waiting taxi to drop him off. No g-ride back to DC.
