Her inner circle forcefully tries to tamp down 2020 speculation – after all, there is no upside to being seen as a new senator focused more on national political ambition than on California.
But the speculation is not going away, not with the absence of a clear Democratic presidential frontrunner and the party desperately in search and in need of a new generation of leadership.

Hell no on Kamala Harris. She was horrible in SF/Oakland politics. While in the district attorney’s offices in Alameda and San Francisco, she sided with career criminals (including murderers) and let them off the hook. And went against murder victim’s families desires to have justice. She is against capital punishment, and sides with illegal alien criminals. And she creates many gaffes and mistakes in any office she resides in. She is absolutely horrible as an office-holder, seeking ever-higher office without any skills other than leftist politics. No, no, no on that witch.
Harris makes Sally Yates look like manna from Heaven.
She is like Obama, but with less class, more liberal, and bigger balls. She is dangerous because she has the skills to fake “moderate” in interviews. Very dangerous politician, much much more so than the sad pathetic Fauxcahontas. I can see liberals, in overreacting to Trump, going for her in big numbers.
Oh puh-leeze, Dems, do it! This is such a GREAT idea to win back the White Middle Class voters in the Mid-West.
