Leading French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron's campaign said on Friday it had been the target of a "massive" computer hack that dumped its campaign emails online 1-1/2 days before voters choose between the centrist and his far-right rival Marine Le Pen.

Frankly, no, I don’t think the polls are wrong.
If you want hope, plenty of people don’t like either candidate but would chose Macron, if enough of them stay home instead....that’s her path to victory. But I wouldn’t bet my top dollar on that happening. Pray for rain.
If she does win there will be no “invalidating” the results based on leaked emails, same as here it has zero legal baring.
In fact, even fraudulent double votes count. Thousands of overseas French voters (liberal leaning) were mistakenly mailed 2 ballots for the first round. They risked prosecution if they cast both (I haven’t heard any more about it), but the votes and results stand.
Holy Macaroon Batman, this is explosive!
And we thought our elections were mixed up.
I’m still waiting to hear what the Russians did re interfering with our elections. Maybe they tried but where, now, etc? No one has said anything specific so far. I wouldn’t doubt that the Russians would try something if they felt it would bring them some kind of benefit, but what benefit have they gotten so far other than having the Dems force out Gen. Flynn (who seems to have been careless in his associations and statements).
Perhaps that was what the Russians wanted, or thought that the Democrats wanted so they arranged for it to happen. Now I’m getting into conspiracy theories. better stop while I’m still sane.
Tomorrow is another day!
The French have a law against "campaigning" within 48 hours of the election.
You may recall, the Supreme Court ruled a similar law here unconstitutional in Citizens United. (The Democrat Party was not pleased.)
I would encourage anyone knowing French to post on social media in violation of French law. Any and all facts should be made available to French voters before they cast their votes! Law or no law!
Emailing in code is free speech.
A one-time pad is best, but, as a practical matter, go for Perfect Forward Secrecy.
