K-12: 'Alien Covenant'

If you watch TV, you are seeing ads for a new Alien movie (i.e., Alien Covenant). All hail Ridley Scott. This will be the sixth in the franchise. One thing all of the entries have in common is that a ghastly alien emerges, often with pointy teeth and covered in drool, from an egg or an astronaut's chest.

This signature sudden, unforgettable moment is the essence of the cinematic covenant. An entirely hostile organism will burst out somewhere when you least expect it and kill you.

That has to remind us of the year 1931, when the Education Establishment sprang its own alien on the country. With no testing, no proof of concept, no incremental introduction, and certainly no humility or shame, a small clique of education professors abolished common practice and, almost overnight, forced an alien method upon this country. Thus began the appropriation (that's Commie euphemism for conquest) of the U.S. via illiteracy.

If you want to understand what we are up against when it comes to improving our schools, you have to reflect on how far a small group of ideologues will go to impose their destructive theories. Apparently, there's no limit.

In the early 1930s, the country was crippled by economic failure. Even the rich felt weak and vulnerable. Who knew how bad things would get? The professors apparently thought this was an ideal time to roll a drunk, so to speak. People would be too demoralized to fight back. Tragically, that turned out to be true.

The big change was that children were no longer supposed to bother with the alphabet. Always the alpha and omega of reading, the alphabet was mugged and pushed in the East River.

In Ridley's original ALIEN and then BLADE RUNNER it was a cat and an owl (respectively) that witnessed a human's death.

I disagree. This has started gradually for the last century. Its not something that bursts out like a surprise. If it had in 1931 or even in 41, we'd have fought it and had one. Even liberals back then would've been shocked.

Its like Nikita once said He was gonna bury us without firing a shot, by giving us communism in small doses and deluding the people into it without knowing...

All pregnant females, children and their cute pets must be alive at the end.

After all, what is civilization about if not protecting the future?

The pets are just because I am a sentimentalist.

I entered First Grade in 1937. Evidently the rot hadn't yet gotten to my corner of Ohio. I was drilled on phonics. I, and most of my classmates, were reading well by the end of First Grade. I spent the summer after First Grade reading everything I could get my hands on. At the start of Second Grade I was surprised, but shouldn't have been, at how well my classmates were reading. They'd probably spent the summer reading, just as I had.

Time to revisit some of the communist party goals for the takeover of the USA. These specific goals were exposed in the late 1950s by an FBI agent who had infiltrated the CPUSA. Item #17 is of particular relevance to this thread.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
