The Democratic National Committee is currently defending the tactics it used last year to rig the presidential primary against Sen. Bernie Sanders in a class-action lawsuit, brazenly telling voters in a court of law that the party is not obligated to run a fair and impartial primary election.
Outraged by how the DNC unfairly boosted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s candidacy and cleared the way for her primary victory, supporters of Sanders and Democratic donors sued the DNC in June 2016 alleging it defrauded its constituents.
During the primaries, the DNC blatantly tilted its primary system in favor of Clinton. Then-DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was repeatedly criticized for trying to make the Democratic Party presidential debates as few and low-key as possible, to Clinton’s advantage.
Regardless of Sanders’ victories during the primaries and caucuses, superdelegates immediately lined up behind Hillary, guaranteeing Sanders’ defeat.
Internal DNC emails only confirmed allegations of the DNC’s rigged primary system, underscoring deep-rooted corruption.

The older I get the more I sometimes feel we had a Revolution to throw off the British Monarchy and establish a ruling American Aristocracy.
After reading this I will never again believe anything they said about South America's dirty war.
The situation that existed in 1968 in South America then exists now in America.
Its time we had a charismatic leader like Pinochet show up on the scene.
I believe that it will happen after the next election if we elect Bernie Sanders or if he somehow gets in through some default.
After that, start up the rotors and round up the leftists.

the DNC is doing the NBA dance.....the NBA and the democrat party are private enterprises that can make their won rules as to who is going to win....
It was a Representative Republic, but ol’ Ben was right... We couldn’t keep it.
If they don’t have any problems with rigging their own party elections and screwing their own voters by stealing the nomination to whoever their leaders want, then...
They certainly will not have any problems trying to steal the actual elections and screwing over people they demonize, hate and despise.
If they do this to their own and they don’t care, they will have no qualms about doing it to their political enemies outside their party.
In the case the Democrats should stop using public elections to run their “primary”. If you aren’t going to run w fair election the state should no be involved.
The first part happened in 1776. The second in 1865.
I actually agree with them, although publicly, they are total hypocrites.
The DNC is not a public institution - its a private political organization. Bernie Sanders is an avowed socialist and independent. He never helped the party raise money or organize. He always claimed he was free from their control.
Then in 2016 - he suddenly wants to take over the Democratic Party nomination process for himself??
It would only be surprising if the long-term DNC insiders and Clintonistas DIDN”T do everything they could to exclude him.
It’s Bernie’s fault.
He knew the fix was in for Hillary and the DNC had already picked her as their candidate.
He was allowed to run against her so she could have pretend debates and get the free air time.
But he wasn’t really supposed to try and win - the doofus!
But when he got serious and started to give her a real fight the DNC had no choice.
They had to cheat just as if it was the real election against the republican.
So you see they had no choice - They had to rig the primary to make Hillary look good.
And then they had to give Bernie $600,000 to back off because he was still beating Hillary!
You mean like what the long-term republican insiders and GOPe were doing to Trump?

That seems a bit far fetched. On the other hand, it's pretty hard to imagine another reason for Sanders refusing to go after her on the email scandal.
