"Although Californias state budget allocates $88.3 billion for K-12 education ($51.6 billion state dollars, the rest is local and federal money), Californias public schools are struggling.
California not only has one of the highest student-to-teacher ratios in the country35% above the national averagebut per-pupil spending has been decreasing steadily in recent years.
In fact, a recent study ranked Californias K-12 public education system as the 37th worst in the Union, in terms of educational qualityand 49th in terms of school safety.
Essentially, Californias public schools are bad and dangerous.
This is a serious problem: it hurts our kids, and our society more broadly. If were going to fund public education, it has to be done right.
So whats the problem?
While academics attribute it to a plethora of marginally relevant factors, like the difficulty in raising taxes, a lack of federal supporteven racismtheyre missing the answer thats right under their nose.
Californias public education system is bad because of illegal immigration."

Just another reason to remove ALL illegal aliens and not wait until they victimize Americans through crimes any more than they already are by invading our country and stealing everything they can.
And consider, that dollar amount is just for “educating” them.
Doesn’t include the other tens of billions they soak up in multiple other ways.
Another good reason to allow Kalifornia to secede
Throw them out of my country.
“Education” includes free meals. Everybody in Mexico who has a hard time feeding their children knows that if they can get to California somebody else will be feeding their children.
This is not only California's problem...it's a problem for the nation as a whole.
This not going away as long as Moonbeam and his leftist RATS control the state.
“Another good reason to allow Kalifornia to secede”
Nah, we ain’t leaving. They are.
The state could fix a lot of infrastructure with that kind of money on an annual basis.
I recently came across class pictures from my elementary school (Catholic School, 60’s, SFBay area) and there were between 39 and 49 kids in the class with a single teacher. If anyone “acted up”, you got in trouble with the teacher, then the principal, then your mom and then your dad and there surely was not gobs of money poured into the classroom. You either shaped up or shipped out. There was simply no choice than to behave and achieve as expected.
How can I help make #CALEXIT a reality?
Have less children, said California. The world has too many people, California said. Our population should be smaller. We will need fewer schools, we will have more resources, we will become a model of ‘sustainability’.
Genocidal liars.
Parasitism has been bleeding our beloved country in ways we are only partially aware and sorrowfully, will be at the heart of our demise.
We are without proper, intelligent representation in Washington and in many states and have been for YEARS. We are indeed being destroyed slowly and purposely.
I trust I have the strength left when the necessary fighting begins.
Those running CA should be prosecuted for what they’ve done.
No worries. My great state of California just raised gas taxes and car registration fees to “pay for infrastructure”, er, pensions and bullet train and illegals.
How can an illegal alien enroll in college?
You need a social security #, don’t you, and proof of citizenship, high school diploma, AND pass placement tests.
To get into the universities don’t you HAVE to have a diploma? I don’t understand how they can enroll.
WITH did they expect when they don’t deport illegals - they welcome them!
And it costs billions more to pay for their illegitimate kids, gang crimes, trials, and incarceration. It is an enormous expense for taxpayers when squatters move into an area.
That works out to be about a cost of $1500 per California household.
