Kaepernick has been active in social justice efforts while trying to find his next stop in the NFL.

I don’t think anything Kaeperdick does will rehabilitate his image.
Not so sure there’s a spot for him in the NFL anymore. The whole taking a knee aside, he’s been on nothing but a slide downward, professionally.
If he does hook back up with an NFL team I will only hope for the worst. No sympathy for this uneducated punk....
He may soon be hosting a talk show on Fox.
What a dim bulb this guy turned out to be.
Give a parolee a suit and they will find a job. That is all that is needed Colin? Wait I have a idea, Colin you put on one of those suits so you can find a job.
There, fixed it.
He’s got his millions, and most of his health. Why not go whole-hog into producing small films and holding festivals? That’s the way Robert Redford went when good roles and suntanned skin began to dry up.
There are worse jobs than a McDonald’s clerk. Midseason replacement QB in Cleveland comes to mind.
I really don’t like this guy’s politics. And I think he was a total @$$ in the way he conducted himself in the NFL. But I’m not going to bust on the dude for handing out old clothes to people who might need them.
He won;t need those anyway. WalMart, Lowes, McDonalds all provide something to wear over basic clothing.
Some of Colin’s remaining fans may want those suits just as a souvenir to keep or to sell later. I would suspect most men couldn’t fit them with great comfort. The suits were tailored to fit a tall, lean football player with big shoulders, a narrow neck and small waist. Maybe a high school team will find use for them.
You misread him. He's developing and burnishing his Democrat politician image with the intent of becoming the next Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson/Hussein Obama.
I’m with you. 100% this is a great thing he’s doing. He doesn’t have to do anything but he is. We should be applauding him, not eviscerating him once again.
This is what he *should* have done from Day 1 re: the kneeling. The NFL was not the venue for him. It wasn’t HIS venue. He could have held a press conference anywhere in San Francisco and gotten as much attention. He chose not to. He could be volunteering to speak at Pro Police / Anti Police meetings to try and mend fences and build bridges. He didn’t have to do what he did. And he deserves all the $hit that came his way for it. All of it.
But yeah, this is a good thing.
so sure theres a spot for him in the NFL anymore. The whole taking a knee aside, hes been on nothing but a slide downward, professionally.
He has never shown any talent, except for being a idiot.
Lenny Bruce found the advice about wearing a suit to court hearings to be very suspect.
I just read an email that said Kaepernick will now stand for our anthem.
Too late, as far as I’m concerned. He just wants his status back. I’m not buying his “change of heart.”
What a turd.
