Montana Democrat nominee Rob Quist encouraged climate skeptics to consider suicide in a response to a question on climate change.
Quist debated Republican nominee Greg Gianforte and Libertarian Mark Wicks for Montanas U.S. House at-large seat to replace Ryan Zinke, the interior secretary. Montanas at-large district will hold their special election on May 25th.
The Democrat nominee was criticized for performing many times at a nudist resort in Idaho. National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Jack Pandol said in an email, The more Rob Quists past is laid bare, the more his claim to represent Montana values is exposed as another charade. When all is stripped away, this washed-up hippie is just a naked embarrassment to the voters hes running to represent.

There ya go. Somebody ping Lyin' Paul Ryan and Miotch McConnell. THIS is how you deal with demonicRATS.
Well,Red China and San Francisco....
Why should the skeptics commit suicide? They are the ones that are living life without these ridiculous sci-fi threats that aren’t happening. It should be these moronic climate whiners who said that NYC was inundated by 2015 and that sharks will attack children in their driveways in Ohio. These pabulum puking, whining, screeching Cassandras should save the planet themselves by checking out. It beats getting attacked by a shark on a mountain top in Montana!
“The Democrat nominee was criticized for performing many times at a nudist resort in Idaho”.....
No doubt he is a migrant transferee from Kalifornica. My guess is he has little chance of winning that election.
LOL
If one position is “hopeless” and might warrant suicide, it is the “climate change” alarmist position.
If you don’t have the alarmists position, suicide is not a consideration because you expect we will combine overcoming, mitigating and adapting to “climate change” without imposing a socialist “carbon” economy on the globe.
They realize we're right, won't change our mind, we're influencing others and they can't stop us.
The only logical next step is to plead with us to kill ourselves.
Unfortunately, the lying cowards will not oblige US when they realize we're not going to comply
It’s the population alarmists that should be lining up to off themselves for the good of the planet. I’ve said before they should lead by example and the very fact that they don’t exposes the hoax for what it is,
Damned tag line .... always getting erased
It is fun to tweak them on this. I do the same thing. The look of utter contempt on their faces, and the frothing, spittle and obscenity-laced responses I get sometimes (mostly it's just dumbfounded, slack-jawed silence), make it all worthwhile.
To those who respond with venom, I simply state they are typical leftists, who seem to always want someone else to do the heavy-lifting for them, and are willing to contribute absolutely nothing of themselves to the solution.
“My guess is he has little chance of winning that election.”
Guess again.
I’m NOT voting for him, but Gianforte comes across poorly here in Montana.
He’s East coast and, while he made his 100’s of millions here in Bozeman, he could not beat a corrupt Democrat for Governor in November.
Personally, having worked closely for both Gianforte and Daines (now our Senator) I really disliked Gianforte while Daines is a decent man. Daines Father is very well respected, very unusual for a builder.
Quist is just plain OUT OF HIS MIND! That does not mean he will lose. He is a well known musician around these parts and he wears his cowboy hat well...even if that’s all he has on.
Montana has only reelected ONE Republican Senator in it’s 128 years of statehood, and he was defeated by John Testor 10 years ago.
Additionally, Montana has/had the only Congress critter to vote AGAINST entering WWII, Jeanette Rankin, congresses first Woman Rep.
It’s not a slam dunk my FRiend.
Why should us “climate change deniers” make the warmists’ job any easier for them?
They think the problem with the world is “too many people”, but somehow, that is not how I see things. The problem is too many people with rigid thinking, that will not or perhaps cannot think outside the box. Humanity has an incomparable capacity for ingenious solutions to problems, and if there is too much carbon dioxide, well, what makes carbon dioxide disappear? Something simple, yet miraculous and mysterious, called “photosynthesis”, which goes on every day in the presence of sunlight, moisture and carbon dioxide, in green growing plants. An incidental by-product of this photosynthesis process, which makes an energy storage medium out of carbon dioxide and water, is free oxygen, one of the most corrosive elements in the Universe. And it makes up some 20% of the earth’s atmosphere, while carbon dioxide makes up about 0.04% of the atmosphere, and most of that lies at the lower part of the layers of air, as it is some 50% greater weight per unit volume compared to either nitrogen or oxygen, the major components of earth’s atmosphere.
Plant more trees. Hell, plant more grass. Or wheat. Or soybeans. Or even popcorn. But plant.
Plants need water. Well, I have another ingenious solution. Distill water from the oceans all around us, collect the distilled water vapor, and pipe it back to otherwise arid portions of the earth (the Sahara Desert comes to mind). How do we drive water distillation plants? Well, something that supplies plenty of heat would be a good start. We might use solar collectors, and use that heat to distill the water. Or we could use a number of Thorium-fueled Molten Salt nuclear reactors, a technology that has few of the serious drawbacks of Uranium-fueled light water reactors, set up on the east coast of Africa, taking up the water from the Indian Ocean, collecting the condensed water vapor, and piping it to irrigate the Sahara, creating a brand new rain forest where there is now only desert.
A huge quantity of minerals will be left behind in the process of distilling sea water, composed of just about every water soluble mineral in the world (mostly chlorides), even such exotic things as gold. We could end up mining the sea, most particularly potassium (as potassium chloride), an essential element for plant growth. There would, of course, be a number of other elements and compounds that could be extracted from this highly concentrated brine, mostly by differential crystallization rates of various compounds.
“Substitute “adoration of Chairman Mao” with climate change”
LOL yes! And don’t for get Lysenko. If you disagreed publicly with Comrade Scientist Lysenko in the Stalin era it was off to the Gulag with you!
I wonder sometimes if perhaps incoming Presidents should draw Administration members from outside the political realm? We had KS/GA/MT to contend with. Others may be forthcoming. A risky proposition methinks.
only Congress critter to vote AGAINST entering WWII, Jeanette Rankin, congresses first Woman Rep
Hmmm. Wonder what her take will be on WW III? ;-)
Yep,
Seeing many Quist signs here in Lincoln County. I will hold my nose and vote for Gianforte, even though he is a New Jersey Republican carpet bagger. Quist is a native Montanan who is more in line with David Crosby, who has trouble paying his taxes.
Gunner
Mr Quist, your party should consider suicide, since your party loves to murder babies, so why not off yourself, you jerk....
MONTANA CONGRESS (Emerson College): Tech exec Greg Gianforte (R) 52%, musician Rob Quist (D) 37%, Mark Wicks (Libt) 5%
Poll from 4/28. This IS a slam dunk.
