Once proud and productive cities, such as Detroit and New Orleans, have become dens of dependency, with generations hooked on welfare and despair.

Meanwhile, the bureaucRATS that run those cities, pay themselves hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in salaries, benefits and pensions.

Some serious irony here, the dims wanted to nationalize police forces, now they end up with Jeff Sessions in charge.

They never learn to be careful what you wish for.

It’s like the police cameras. They are now complaining that the police are reviewing footage before filling out their statements, saying it is unfair.

“We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.”

-- C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man

We abandon police departments and are surprised when crime explodes.

‘Charm City’’s Chief of Police and State Atty just instructed all prosecutors to ‘think twice’ before charging illegals this weekend!

The FBI could do the country a great service by raiding the political offices of these cities.

I laugh at and ridicule incessantly these LIB-run hell-holes. People that vote these degenerates into office are getting their just desserts. Hahahahahaaaa. Pathetic.

It’s getting so bad, multiple cities are pleading for the federal government to send help.

And this was the intent of One Big Ass Mistake America. Obama and Holder and other race baiters crafted and designed anarchy and lawlessness in the hell-holes of America.

It was their intent to create such chaos that the federal government would have to be called in and take control. And by starting in the ghettoes, they would move onward to the rest of America replacing local and state control and authority with a totalitatrian Federal regime.

Thankfully this was yet another one of Obama's collosal failures.

"Police know where these neighborhoods are... Many of these communities are predominately African-American...."

I would venture to say the operative word here is "all". It is PC racial cowardice to deny the facts.

um... Obama flooded the cities with crooks that were in jail for life just before he left office.

Amazing that crime spiked just afterwards!

No mention of New York City? The murder rate is 3.91 per 100K there. That’s 14% of the Chicago rate, and 6.6% of the St Louis rate.

That’s what gentrification will do.

Roughly 76 of 79 St. Louis neighborhoods are made up.

They need to rethink what they are asking for - with Trump and Session they may find out that they are on the fast track to get drained....get rid of crooked ‘leaders” and all kinds of good things can start to happen.

An excellent, cheap starting point for Federal help would be an emergency statute voiding all of the Obola era consent decrees and strictly limiting the circumstances under which future decrees cold be adopted.

I’ve lived in and around Baltimore since the mid ‘70’s. Things started to get bad in the late ‘80’s when Kurt Schmoke was elected mayor. A bright personable black lawyer who opened the floodgates for out-of-town drug dealers...in formerly nice blue collar mixed neighborhoods I’d see waist high weeds and beaters on blocks where homes had been well maintained just five years prior. Mid afternoon on a weekday you drive around and hear 100+ decibel rasta music (right before hop-hip and crrrrap became popular) and the odor of ganja smellable half a mile away.) Two thirds of the working vehicles parked in these hoods had New York tags. So the gangs came in and took over both the drug trade and the municipal government. Or at least had enough power to intimidate government officials into being unwilling accomplices. We live just outside the city limits so we can’t vote but I will give the new Mayor Pugh credit for admitting failure and asking for help.

The best thing the Trump administration could do for Baltimore is to send Philipine President Duterte on a fact-finding mission to the city and follow his recommendations. Which may include the suspension of a few rights. Total media blackout would be necessary as well as barricading the city’s boundaries while measures are taken. Citizen cell phone service would need to be cut as well as electricity in many neighborhoods. There would be deaths and many apprehensions including a bunch in City Hall. This could be the Trump administration’s prime opportunity to fulfil campaign promises to rid us from drugs and gun violence and Baltimore would be the first act.
