I guess, to be fair, they say the descriptions haven’t been released. Maybe the descriptions are conflicting to the point they don’t feel comfortable releasing them. But still.

At the very least they could report skin color and describe the clothing.
Yeah, you would think they would have some consistent features to release.

I didn’t go to church with my wife this morning. Seeing us together might have made people suspicious.

I saw the initial Sherrif’s spokesman this morning.
He said an innocent man was shot, and he emphasized that there seems to be no motive for the shootings.
With that complete lack of content, I was thinking Jihad.

Reality from Fox News:
Authorities in Southern California were searching for a Hispanic male and female accused of stealing a woman’s SUV on Saturday and then going on a shooting rampage, killing one and injuring three.
“It doesn’t appear they were target-specific or gang related,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Ryan Rouzan said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
The rampage began at around 2:15 p.m. when one person forced a woman from her Nissan Pathfinder in Pico Rivera, a community southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
The two suspects then fired at three or more people in neighboring communities. Rouzan said one man shot in the rampage was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
With the police not giving any description, I would still not rule out a Middle Eastern connection. There is usually a PC reason for not giving a description, not even officially saying, “Hispanic.”
Is la Mirada anyplace like Rio Linda?
La Mirada is a fairly safe and stable portion of L.A. County. This is not commonplace activity, in that area.
