Yes, it's him. The TV story includes the middle initial. Apparently he was "radicalized" before moving to Santa Fe, but after his falsely claiming he was an active member of the Florida bar, he was fired by the Santa Fe Public Defender's Office in January 2003 after the issue came to light.
