Record-breaking heat is possible Saturday, potentially adding fuel to the fire for the People's Climate March on the National Mall.
Thousands are expected to attend the march, including former Vice President Al Gore and actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
And if you're thinking about going, be prepared to sweat.
Highs of 86 to 91 degrees are expected Saturday, according to Storm Team4. The average high is just 71 degrees.
Organizers say the event will get more political than last weekend's March for Science and Earth Day rally and will target Trump administration policies.
"On the 100th Day of the Trump Administration, we will be in the streets of Washington D.C. to show the world and our leaders that we will resist attacks on our people, our communities and our planet," a Facebook page for the march says.

algore will be sweating like the pig he is!!!
It’s colder than a well digger’s belt buckle here in northeastern Indiana.
I need it to be at least a dry 45 degrees to prime and paint my deck.
Awesome! Burn baby, burn!
The forecast for Thursday and Friday is a high of 65. These reporters are full of crap. Temperatures fluctuate. Idiots.
But, but, but.............. I just posted something saying that all these record breaking weather events were leveling off. Besides which, if manbearpig is going there will probably be a blizzard show up.
It was 41 in Tulsa yesterday. Will be 44 on Sunday. Nice today, 66 right now.
Be sure to take care of your pets and hydrate them in the heat... especially sex poodles. They are prone to overheat quickly.
Again, the predictive nature of science fiction continues as marching societies make nearly weekly visits in the US. What do we want? TO MARCH. Where are we going? WE DON’T KNOW. What will we do? DESTROY ANYTHING IN OUR WAY.
Nice of them to fly in for the event. No doubt in their private jets.
Maybe there will be a massive melting of Snowflakes.
Is all that heat before or after Algore and the rest of his phony-baloney enviro-whackos arrive in their private jets and pontificate about “the Earth has a fever” mumbo-jumbo?
(Can you tell I’m something of a Glo-bull warming cynic???)
Record breaking cold during previous climate clown shows were irrevelant, but one hot session “adds fuel to the fire”.
And one wonders why journalists are, well, just plain stupid?
Remember, when one cannot get through elementary math, logic, science, and morals, there is always journalism, “education”, and politics.
California is getting its first heat wave this coming week—but at least it won’t reach 100 °F. in Sacramento, CA like it was back in early May some years ago.
LOL!! That’s the first thing I thought of too when I read his name, and “high temperatures.”
My weather widget shows it’s 79 at the moment in DC, with a high of 82 predicted. Tomorrow, it’s supposed to go up to 91, with thunder storms.
Good day to meet scantily dressed cute girls!

The obese and sweaty will be too close together that day.
