After drawing conservative Republicans on board to the American Health Care Act, Republican leadership appears set to try to bring back the American Health Care Act to the House floor for a vote.
But the fate of the legislation appeared to be in doubt Thursday as leaders raced to get the support of moderate Republican lawmakers.
~snip~
Several Republican senators have expressed serious doubts about the AHCA. And since Republicans are attempting to move the healthcare bill through the budget reconciliation process, there have been questions whether the bill would even qualify under the Senate rules.

And then we learned it was NOT the HFC who were at fault.
And now? Now more of the same. This TrumpCare garbage ain't going anywhere. No conservative Repub wants it. And neither does any GOP-e Repub.
Trumpcare? The new plan is called FreedomCaucusCare.
It’s Obamacare because they refuse to repeal it.
I’m amazed that anyone here thought that there would be any kind of repeal at all.
Not ‘cause of Trump, but because of Congress.
Did anyone REALLY think that they’d stop their backstabbing ways just because Trump is in office? We should have known that they’d only get WORSE.
While the House GOP conference attempts to wrangle votes, the White House has also sought to apply pressure ahead of the 100-day mark in President Donald Trump's administration. Mick Mulvaney, the Office of and Management and Budget director, told CNBC that he was "still holding out" for a vote on Saturday, while other reports suggested a vote could come Friday.Yeah. Right. They aren't gonna vote on this. Knowing full well a majority of Repubs won't vote for it.
There no repeal in this version of repeal and replace, just like the last one.
It’s rearrange and repair, it’s still Obamacare.
Nope.
The GOP is a bunch of liars and not one thing else.
I want NAMES of Republicans that won’t support this bill, which has been substantially improved.
NAMES.
Not at all surprised that the GOPe are failing to do what they promised. I’m a little surprised that Trump is letting them off the hook. If he’s going to drain the swamp he needs to go after them. I’m inclined to think he won’t.
If hes going to drain the swamp he needs to go after them. Im inclined to think he wont.

I suspect that he is, but he’s decided that it’s better to do it in a more subtle way than straight-up calling them out.
Of course I’m not a mind reader, but I find it hard to believe that a man could become THAT successful without learning how to figure out that people are against him.
Despite all the kvetching that some people I could name have been doing, Trump has done an enormous amount already. I’m inclined to trust him in the future.
As it is, it’s our job to kick Congress’s wrinkly buttocks as well.
They will hang themselves..
The economy will start growing ..it is mostly psychological

F*cking freedom caucus got us in this mess.
According to Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse what the Chamber of Commerce wants the COC will get because of the millions of dollars they donate to Congress. According to Sundance this is all just lip service and the rats and the rinos will make sure Obamacare stays. And Obamacare isn’t the only thing they’re going to pull this on.
It isn’t Trump’s fault - it’s the lying liars in the GOPe. At least we know where the rats are really coming from.
Is that you Paul Ryan?
Nope. It’s me, Donald Trump. You know, the president? The only person in government getting anything done right now?
I’m in the middle of reading it, actually.
Well, listening to it; I got the audiobook version.
Sundance is a know-nothing liar.
He was 100% all in on Ryancare as soon as it rolled out then defended it with lie after lie.
It’s hard to do a replacement because of the Senate. In my opinion, Trump should let it collapse and then fix it after. Then he’ll have much more support.
Yes, he did do that, but his last piece about the Uniparty was pretty good. He pointed out that they want to deliver to the Chamber of Cheap Labor:
Obamacare
Amnesty
Open Borders
Big Government
I think you’ve gottem.
Give um enough rope......
