I don't know how many black storks are in Ozols' area. Last year, there were a few intrusions at the nest but I don't know if it was one stranger going back again and again or several of them. He was late returning this year and all the available females may have already been taken.
Ah, yes, they are gorgeous! His mom sure has been gone a long time!
One of the ladies posting on the rapture forum on FB said she thought she saw Hope on the trio nest this morning with two head wounds, and that one of the Valors drove her off. She didn’t have time to react and take a scap, but I guess if it was her, she’s been gone so long they would consider her an intruder. I do hope she’s still alive!
