Ah, yes, they are gorgeous! His mom sure has been gone a long time!
One of the ladies posting on the rapture forum on FB said she thought she saw Hope on the trio nest this morning with two head wounds, and that one of the Valors drove her off. She didn’t have time to react and take a scap, but I guess if it was her, she’s been gone so long they would consider her an intruder. I do hope she’s still alive!
Dang, still no parent at the nest with breakfast? I took off for a shower and haven’t pulled any of the bird cams back up yet.
I wonder if it was Hope or one of the intruders that’s been harassing the nest that she saw. The two Valors and she have been mates for a while and they should have known who she was. I hope it wasn’t Hope since she was driven off.
And at the same time I hope it was her. It would be nice to know she’s still alive.
