Not quite true, I know one in Pasadena.
I wouldn't call it psychedelic pop, more like middle of the road (MOR). It made the Top 40 in 1968. He wrote, produced, and sang with Bubba Fowler.
Gotta wonder how many times a day Chuck kicks himself. Back in the early 80s, he was hosting “Wheel of Fortune,” and decided he needed a pay raise. He went to Merv Griffin, the creator and producer of the show. Apparently, Chuck overplayed his hand and Merv told him to hit the bricks. He was replaced by a TV weatherman who had recently joined the staff at KNBC-TV in Los Angeles. His name: Pat Sajak.
At last report, Pat was making $8 million a year hosting “Wheel,” and he works two weekends out of every month. Interestingly, Pat is also conservative. So, at one time in the late 90s, there were as many as three conservatives in southern California, counting that guy in Pasadena, Chuck (before he decamped for Texas) and Pat when he was in town to tape “Wheel.”
Bruce has always been and will always be Bruce. XY chromosomes do not change.
He can slice and dice all he wants, he's still Bruce.
I hope he gets help for his mental condition.

Exactly as I was commenting to my wife yesterday as we were on our way to hear Marcus Luttrell as the keynote speaker for a Brooks Rehab annual meeting. Now that was intense and stunningly real to hear him recount.
A story came on the radio referencing Jenner. My comment was that he will always be Bruce unless those fancy doctors have figured out a way to fool mother nature and change that pesky chromosome thingy.
Bruce IS still Bruce.
Just with longer hair.
