The Simple Reason Why a Second American Civil War May Be Inevitable
SHTF Plan ^ | 4-21-2017 | Daniel Lang

Posted on 04/21/2017 6:17:40 PM PDT by blam

America has always had its divisions, and Americans have never really been a monolith. We’ve always been a nation of many nations. The culture of New England is different from the culture of the Deep South, which is different from the cultures in the West Coast or the Midwest. People living in the cities have different beliefs than people who live in the countryside. Within those areas, there are ethnic, linguistic, and religious enclaves. It’s always kind of been like that (probably to a lesser degree in the past), and somehow we’ve been able to find enough common ground to keep this country together for more than a century.

However, something has changed. You can feel it in the air. Our nation has clearly never been this divided since the Civil War. A lot of people noticed it after the last election, but the truth is that these divisions have been deepening for decades, and they’re just now reaching a very noticeable breaking point. That’s obvious enough when you look at how the left and the right have been going at each other. It used to be a war of words, but it’s turning into something very dark.

Consider what happened last week in Berkeley after Trump supporters and counter protesters clashed for the third time. 21 people were arrested and 11 were injured (that we know of), six of who had to be taken to the hospital. At least one person was stabbed. The police confiscated confiscated knives, stun guns, and poles. One Trump supporter admitted to being surrounded, pepper sprayed, and beaten with sticks by a mob of “protesters.”

But wait, that’s not the dark part. After these groups clashed, the leftist protesters took to Reddit and admitted that they lost this particular battle ...

We haven’t even had 65% eligible voter turnout since 1908, off year congressional elections get around 40% or so, and local elections usually get way less than that. It’s hard to imagine sustained civil unrest when that many don’t even deign to exercise their political options before taking to the street or whatever.

Also, the poorest people are now the most likely to be obese. I don’t think this has ever happened before. It’s hard to imagine them choosing the hardship sustained civil unrest would bring, at least while these conditions exist. Has there ever been sustained civil conflict somewhere when the poorest are so well fed? Not so far to my understanding.

Very vague. Kind of silly.

Our sin divides us. Just like it did at Babel.

Folks... The Left WANTS a second US Civil War. It is the pattern that they follow in every "cultural Revolution". To destroy America, the best method is to have one half fight the other half... and the cherry on top is that in the aftermath of the carnage, they have a 30-50% chance to take over afterwards and impose a thoroughly autocratic government. Look at Cuba, China, the Soviets, Vietnam, North Korea, Romania, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and dozens of other examples. THAT'S why they are pushing so hard for violence. They WANT a violent response, so that a Civil War begins. If it starts, the chances of attaining their 2 major goals (a greatly reduced America, and a Leftist dictatorship) are greatly enhanced.

Yes, it is a war that our side should easily win on the battlefield and in the streets, but no real soldier ever wants war, and no war goes "as it should" once the shooting begins. The side of Good is best served by winning this war before the widespread shooting begins.

Most secession are peaceful.

Ummmm.... Virtually every secession in the history of mankind was peaceful... but immediately followed up with a military response from the leadership that was just rejected. We peacefully declared Independence. The King didn't take it politely. The South peacefully declared nationhood. The North refused to leave SOUTH Carolina (hundreds of miles from their country), and eventually had to be removed with cannon fire. India declared independence, and the Brits killed tens of thousands of unarmed women and children before they were shamed into stopping.

“We’re self-sorting at every level. Because of this, Americans are only going to grow more extreme in their beliefs, and see people on the other side of the political spectrum as more alien.
You can see how this is creating the perfect breeding ground for a real, physical war.”

He’s right about the geographic and internet/social media bubbles we have created. I am a pretty big critic of social media as far as society is concerned. In any case this reinforcing seclusion/bubble creation hasn’t translated into more people caring enough to even vote. 2016 had less turnout than 2008 and 2012. If there was more people that started caring either way the % of eligible voters that bothered to vote would have gone up, right?

Umm you realy so sure? Just look at Brexit, the USSR break up and numerous colonies of Europe gaining independence as just a few examples. Some secessions do devolve into war but we learned from the last one that that isn’t a good idea. Let states split off. If there is to be some kind of political reconciliation let it happen naturally and not at the point of bayonet.

Wait til California leaves the Union, joined by Oregon and Washington, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizon, New Mexico—to formed the Democratic People’s Republic of Pacifica. With President Jerry Brown.

Then we will have a Civil War.

Will my taxes be lower after the War?

If so, where do I sign up?

The time for killing our domestic enemies is long overdue. I have a lower regard for them than I do ISIS.

This is the “civilian army” the Kenyan bastard told us he was going to build. If this is the way the snowflakes want to go out, it’s fine with me. I know we can make a lot of mommy and daddys happy. They get their basements back. God Bless America.

They are a bunch of spoiled pussies and a punch in the mouth sees them running like the wimps they are. Don’t worry about revolution. It will be more like... take off your mask... no... I said take off your mask... NO! WHAM. Take of the mask and quit crying. Sniffle... mask off tail tucked and back to the safe space.

You forgot #BasedWedgieMan :

I mean, even Moldylocks is now on YouTube re-constituting the tale o her punch in the face (in contradiction of video evidence), but there is *no* retroactive glory in being on the receiving end of a massive wedgie in public.

The time is rapidly approaching when passivity in the face of evil is an evil in itself.

In order for evil to triumph, it is only necessary that Republicans do nothing...

have a Civil War promptly be annexed by Mexico.

And serve them right.

Oregon might choose to join up with Canada, along with Washington.

I think they would prefer French as their second language.
