I liked the old PC sports games where you could pit an old 1970s team against the current (at that time) 80’s team. Not sure games today allow that but that was the best part of those games. I loved being the 1978 Yankees beating the crap out of the 1955 Washington Senators.

I was a BF 1942 addict back when you could play multi-player online. My screen name was ‘Brutalize & Humiliate’. The dogfighting against other top pilots was epic.

Ive been playing Battlefield 1 for the last couple of months, using a Geforce Titan X Pascal with all game settings at Ultra, on a ROG 34 curved G-sync monitor.

Incredible

OOTP Baseball has the option to manage any historic team back to the 1800s. OOTP is ‘Out of the Park’ but you will find reviews in a search easier under OOTP.

It’s available through Steam. The graphics are minimal, but baseball is all about the stats as you know. Great simulator.

Yeah! One of them had you trying to leave a bomb outside the Nazi meeting room. I think that was Beyond Castle Wolfenstein.

I would say COD2, which was released in 2005, was more than in roads...It dominated.

Never heard of ‘Battlefield’ until years later....may have to check it out ;)

I’d actually buy it if that were to ever happen ... That’d require some thinking outside of the box to make it fun though ...

They managed to do it with World War I and it's trench warfare so it can definitely be done!

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is getting panned widely, and EA’s Battlefield 1 is a huge hit. The folks at EA have announced the next Battlefield is going to be WWII themed and will be released in 2018.

Loved every second of it.

Battlefield 1 @ Ultra settings on a PC.

Makes most other games look like Pong.

Worth the hardware investment, and now that Nvidia just released the GTX 1080 TI, more affordable than ever.

Check out the gameplay videos on youtube.
