"We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump's dangerous mental illness," said Dr. John Gartner, a practicing psychotherapist who advised psychiatric residents at Johns Hopkins University Medical School and who has in the past warned Trump is a "psychiatric Frankenstein monster."
Gartner and other psychiatrists at the conference argued that Trump suffers from a particularly malignant case of pathological narcissism, which makes him a danger to the country and the world.
"Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was president," Gartner explained. "If Donald Trump really believes he had the largest crowd size in history, that's delusional."
Dr. James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University, said that Trump's erratic behavior has similarly disturbed him despite the fact that he has lots of experience working with violent convicted criminals.
"I've worked with murderers and rapists, I can recognize dangerousness from a mile away," he said. "You don't have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is."

Psychiatric medicine is a farce.
Taking their cue from Hillary -— “Dangerous Donald” was the moniker she came up with -— take away these research docs federal funding.
When taking a course in abnormal psychology in college many years ago, I recall the class always was amused the way that when the professor described these behaviors, he was, in our opinion, describing behaviors of his own, or his children. It was a good topic of conversation over a few beers.
He was a nut case, but he was a professor.
These quacks need to be stripped of their licenses.
The word deranged comes to mind. We had a nation nearly totally conditioned to have to accept one of two outcomes, Hillary Clinton, or Jeb Bush, then T-Day came - 06/16/15, and down the escalator came Trump.
It has been a whole new ball game ever since.
Gone is the attitude that everyone gets a participation trophy, no! Trophies are for winners
Gone is the concept of playing nice to illegals - This nation is open to those that love our people and want to conform to american values.
Gone is the thought they we have to suck it up and let the losers of this world take our wealth, No!
America First!!
Do we wonder why psychologists have less respect than even climate researchers?
Number one rule of their profession is you never make long distance diagnosis. More poltical frauds pretending to be “scientists” and “Doctors”.
Trump? Surely sounds like Obama.
I think its obvious there is a dangerous viral mental illness running among a good many in the getting-dumber professions of psychology and psychiatry. They have been dumbed down by the insertion of cultural Marxism’s dialect running through their professional education.
The doctor of Psychology has misdiagnosed the patient, if ever DJT was a patient of the doctor’s. It has been a long standing rule to never diagnose a public figure in the open public, especially if the doctor has never seen or even spoke with the individual in question. The credibility of the diagnosis stands to be lacking. Since the doctor has only viewed the POTUS through the eye of the camera, a complete diagnosis cannot be determined. The diagnosis on the doctor is in. The doctor suffers from the chronic disease of stupidity because ignorance will always be curable.
The comments from the psychiatrists and those reacting to the article are from a different planet. I wish I had an account to post a few serious comments myself. However, I do not have as much time as do the snowflake repliers if found on the web site.
This is what happens when you rush it:
“if” = I
Medical ethics (noun): diagnosing someone you’ve never examined as insane because you don’t like his politics.
Amazing. When psychiatrists said exactly the same things about EX President Obeyme media told us such off the cuff diagnoses were unprofessional, detrimental, dangerous and invalid.
[I tried posting this commenrt on rawstory only to find I’ve been banned there. gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside]
I figured the headline must be wrong, because it sure sounds like Obama, to me.
So true. Most psychiatrists I have met through my profession have been freaks. I had a college professor who told me psychiatrists go into the profession to figure out what’s wrong with THEMSELVES. They have a high suicide rate.
“Some of the most screwed-up people I have ever met, and their children, are psychiatrists and psychologists.”
Especially the ones who branch out in to the Human Resources field. Most of the HR Directors I’ve worked with have some kind of psych degree, and are monumentally sadistic.
