The letters were sent to officials in Chicago, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Miami, Milwaukee, New York City and Sacramento, Calif., as well as Cook County, Ill. These municipalities were identified in a Justice Department inspector generals report last year as potentially out of compliance with the requirements.
Fridays letter asks the cities to send documentation that they are in compliance by the end of June.

Are we draining the swamp or playing with the bath water? Quit talking about and do something about it. That is why it takes forever to get anything done anymore. We have already talked about it, people were warned, send out the official notices and be done with it. Set a date. Draw the line and stand firm. No money, no exceptions.

Yup, if they can do it to a few city’s under something from the previous admin, it sets a presence. Then on to the rest although there will be a lot more who have self deported by then.
