On Wednesdays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe, New York Times White House Correspondent Glenn Thrush reported, my inbox this mornings been flooded by Democrats who are sort of saying Ossoff was a terrible candidate.

Trump underpefromed because it is a GOP Establishment district. I use to live there.
The Never Trumpers did succeed in getting traditional GOP voters to not vote for Trump. The GOP candidate for Senate won this district easily. So a lot of GOP voters in this area did vote, just not for Trump.
Saw the same thing happen in FL, NC and other state. GOP strong holds voted solid for the GOP Senator but did NOT vote as strongly for Trump. Never Trump movement DID have an impact on the GOP Establishment voters in Nov 2016
I heard it was redistricted (sic). Maybe Gaffer knows more.
No gravitas
I can’t wait till the June 20 run off ,,, when he loses in the recent historical democrat fashion . The Mean Streak Media will blow a 50 amp fuse and the dnc will remain quiet as usual not understanding what is happening to their party . The US electoral map is almost entirely RED with the exception of some major urban areas in dim blue .
Ossoff reminds me of Anthony Wiener.
Who is Glenn Thrush?
Oh yeah. He’s the self-proclaimed Leftist “Hack” for the New York Times.
....”Ossoff reminds me of Anthony Wiener”...
Indeed he does.
And we still won them.
Will be an interesting four years.
I dont know how ANYBODY who doesn’t HATE America can vote for hillary or whoever.
The common, slang for John is Jack ala Jack Kennedy. Nobody could seriously want Jack Ossoff. That’s probably what he was going to do, but we’ll save that for another day when it matters.
Ah, bottom line is we won the state.
I can only imagine him doing better next time in many places, except the usual holdouts. But he won’t go down in those places either.
On June 20th Ossoff is going to get his oss handed to him by Karen Handel. :-)
Podesta’s long lost love child...
Pajama Boy got his 15 min of fame
Sounds like Ossoff has met his “Jindal moment”.
+1
I seem to remember parts of it were redistricted. I remember a change that affected that former AG District Attorney guy who was a congressman for a few terms - Bob Barr who lost his 1995-2003 seat (recently tried to do it again and failed). So there may well have been some changes in the lines. That would have made sense in the Democrats trying to maneuver the demographics by Section 8, etc.
Smyrna is now basically Mexican, probably a good bit northward of there too. With the entrance of the big money corridor with the new stadium I’m sure all sorts of hangers-on lowlifes moved in. In my old neck of the woods it is still well represented (I was there today).
It is also true a lot of long term Cobb countians have moved at least one or two counties northward, so the numbers there are much improved and getting stronger.
Where I was (70s to 2003), it was Newt, and Isakson and I guess that added some other areas and change that gave it to Tom Price.
Since the person doesn’t have to RESIDE in the district, why didn’t they run Chelsea Clinton, or Anthony Weiner?
ALL Leftist Democrats are “terrible candidates”. And this guy’s pedigree was about as liberal-left as they come, right out there in Bernie Sanders territory.
Somebody once said that even after putting lipstick on a pig, you still just have a pig.
well, DUH!
It is funny how fast they go from cheering for their candidate and they their election all sewn up, to worst candidate ever.
Its become a real habit on the left these days.
Makes you wonder since they knew it all along, why were they cheering so hard for the worst candidate ever, to in?
How could this turd even be a candidate? He doesn’t even live in the district he was running. LOL—Demoncraps are stupid.
