Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) said on Tuesday that President Trump's frequent trips to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida bother not only her, but other members of the Republican caucus.
"I do wish he would spend more time in Washington, D.C.," Ernst said during a town hall meeting. "That's what we have the White House for."
Since he took office, Trump has spent seven out of the last 13 weekends at his self-described "Southern White House" in Palm Beach. The visits have stirred controversy, in part because of the enormous costs associated with such frequent travel.
One estimate of the weekend trips by CNN placed the cost so far above $20 million, putting Trump on track to spend more on travel in his first year in office than former President Barack Obama spent in eight years.
Before becoming president, Trump frequently assailed Obama for his excessive travel and vacations, arguing that the then-president should stay in Washington to work rather than play golf on the weekends.
"I think that has been bothering not just me but some other members of our caucus," Ernst said of Trump's Mar-a-Lago trips.

Trump goes to Mar A Largo for a very good reason: the WH is under renovation. While it has been said he can still work there, it is going to be a year or more before they are done. This was discussed during and after the election. The former pos President held off on doing renovations until he left office. This meant Trump would have to suffer through them.
This is a low-life senator who only knows what is going on in his world and dictates to us what to do in our world. He should try reading Trump sometime rather than dismiss him because he never liked what Trump stood for.

What is going to happen to the economy when he gets his policy initiative’s?

I suspect more than one nation got the message and is at least not advancing certain political and military objectives the previous pussies allowed.
He gave our generals more leeway and autonomy to pursue, destroy and kill Islamic terrorists and I guess he had only prerequisite “be mindful of optics” but, do your worst...(or something like that)

And just a relevant question: has anybody ever determined exactly why the Obama Admin replaced ALL the computers? Didn’t want the hard drives examined, maybe? Was there ever a reason given?

And where was all this GOP complaining when obama was flying to Honolulu, Hawaii, to play golf and all over e.g. Palm Springs, California and Florida to just play golf and of course every chance he got playing At Andrews AFB and around DC. I sure didn’t hear any bitching then.
