They don’t *observe* that conservatives are racist; they assert it a priori as a matter of dogma.
At present, the Dems have a strategic problem in that by keeping their radical Left element stirred up, they are also helping to keep Trump’s supporters loyal and are scaring off the white moderate and suburban soccer mom vote that was the basis for Clinton era successes. The Dems best hope is for Trump and the GOP Congress to fumble the ball on tax cuts and Obamacare repeal and replace.

That would, however be playing right into their hands. Their goal is not to reduce racism, but to increase if for the purpose of producing civil unrest.
