Can I please add that Mar-a-lago, is one of Trump’s HOMES. When other POTUS’s go to their second homes (Kennedy Compound, The Bush’s home in Maine), I don’t remember people complaining about it. When BO, and moreso, Michelle, go on multi-million dollar expensive trips with Secret Service protection, I heard nothing from the press.
I have no problem with President Trump going to one of his homes & playing golf on the weekend & neither should anyone here or CNN.

The reality is that no President is ever on vacation. The WH travels with him wherever he goes. And Trump has used his FL home to conduct high level meetings with world leaders. Bush had his ranch and Trump has his resort home.
I mentioned the renovations the third week of his presidency as reason....but...

“Something that was revealed during the last Presidency about the WH few seem to know much about. The POSTUS put off security renovations until he left the WH. It was thought to be Trump would not be able to stay in the WH during the first year of his Presidency. The trips to Mar A Largo are due to these security renovations. There you go again taking Trump literally. The WH goes with Trump no matter where he is. WHCA, the SS, his immediate staff, and other key administration personnel depending on what is going on in the world are with him. Also, the military aide carrying the "football" is nearby.
Aside from playing golf, usually a working opportunity with influential people and world leaders, what has Trump done to describe it as a "vacation?"
We all know that Trump is a workaholic who goes to bed late and rises very early. He is engaged at all times. That couldn't be said for Obama, Bush, or Clinton. This is another cheap shot by CNN, which hates Trump.
But Trump’s campaign words do not match his actions.
That's the Dem and MSM meme today. Trump is a flip-flopper and is doing a 180 from his campaign promises. Besides being an outright lie, it is meant to drive a wedge between Trump and his supporters. I gather you are not a Trump supporter.

I was going to bring up the weekend point especially since it is very apparent in the CNN vid, but since another Freeper mentioned it before me I acknowledged that.
