Very possible. And now the enforcer has become the liability.

Time to start a dairy co-op like Vermont Cheese did.

He passed committee vote on 4/3/17. Next would be the cloture vote and then a 30 hour wait before the confirmation vote.

Sonny Perdue’s confirmation vote is scheduled for 4/24/17 when Congress returns from vacation.

Nice! For milk or beef?

I’m nosy because we’re kicking around getting cows, goats, ducks, chickens, buffalo, and/or yaks

Not unusual to bucket feed a calf when first time mamas don’t produce enough milk.

Thanks. This is not good for your dairy farmers for sure, but it sounds like Canada is thinking along the same lines as President Trump, which surprises me. Buy Canadian, hire Canadian, etc., even to the point of revisiting current trade deals. I guess we’re making sure our own dairy farmers are prioritized. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I wish Fox would get rid of Shepard Smith instead.

And I would disagree with Bill’s attorney who said this degree of character assassination is unprecedented in the post-McCarthy era. It’s SOP for the Left, when it suits their purposes.

One of my best friends lives in eastern WA. They used to have a farm (sold it a few years ago and built a house in town). They always kept some cattle (IIRC about 50-100 heads) and would have 1/2 of one butchered for them. We grilled burgers one night and I couldn’t believe the difference in taste from what I get at the store. She said when they ran out, she’d only buy her meat from Costco b/c it was so much better than the stores - IRRC Costco only has “Select” beef, whereas the other stores sell the other grades that are lower.

Right. There was a picture of a keeper bottle-feeding the calf in the article.

We had a family owned cheesery go out of business when the family died out. Many of their suppliers were Amish. The amish bought the equipment and now have a strong business of cheese and butter. They distribute locally Wonderful product. They often sell out.
