While rolling back onerous Obama-era environmental and business regulations, President Donald Trump has also been quietly dropping gun controls which were either put in place or at least prolonged by the Obama administration.
On February 28 Breitbart News reported that Trump signed the repeal of Obamas Social Security gun ban; a ban which empowered the Social Security administration to strip away the Second Amendment rights of Social Security beneficiaries without due process. Days later, Trumps Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke squashed Obamas lead ammunition ban for federal lands and waters.
According to McClatchy, Trumps administration has been quietly working to do away with other Obama-era firearm regulations as well.

Maybe he will reverse Obama’s ban on imported parts guns, too. And remove the State Dept roadblock that prevents the repatriation of hundreds of thousands if USGI WWII firearms.
Back in the late '50s in NYC, no less, I mailordered a 7.35 Carcano carbine and an Australian 310 Martini Cadet. Both came wrapped in newspaper and wired to a 1x5 plank. Also got a surplus 30 M1 Carbine via the NRA.
Anyone got any of those old ads?
Here's one that was recently circulated (I think I bought from this guy):
[Sidebar I] That logo of his, with the bent revolver barrel, was a takeoff/snipe at some other big surplus gun dealer who put on artsy-fartsy airs.
[Sidebar II] Right after Bobby Kennedy was shot, the antis ran a screaming ad, calling on everyone to "Ban guns. Write your Senator - while you still have one!". Half the page was taken up with a photo showing a view-through-the-telescope with the cross-hairs on the neck of some guy in a suit.
LOL! Yup. Them are the ones. I always wanted one of the Brit Jungle Carbines in .303. I was deployed when bobby got it. We had bought some Beretta pistols at the NATO exchange outside Naples and when we got back to the states, we couldn’t take them off the ship since nobody really knew what the rules were. We eventually got them.
Yeah, I know. The approach I use is "I am a CCW holder and have passed a state and federal criminal background check, etc., so why can't I have a firearm delivered directly to me?" I get back "I am support the 2nd Amendment" boilerplate and nothing else.
I have written, on a 6-month basis, the NRA and GOA (membership in both) on this but have never gotten an answer. I guess they are more intent on pushing national reciprocity. Hell, all my surrounding states (West) are gun friendly, so from my narrow viewpoint, I'd trade that for direct shipment.
When he advertised the Boys 55 cal anti tank rifle, he showed a drawing of a guy aiming at autos on the freeway and said it was great for picking them off.
Thanks for the ping.
Isnt there any Senator or Congressman willing to propose this law?
Wyoming has something sort of related in the works. Any state that fails to accept Wyoming's Handgun Carry license- not needed in the Cowboy State since Summer 2013, carry open or concealed as you like- will find their driver's licences and license plates are similarly not recognized by Wyoming. Drive through Wyoming on your way to Yellowstone National Park with plates from an Outlaw state, and see your car crushed on the spot.
I reckon I can dig out a couple more, depends on whether you're hunting small game or the bigger stuff:

LOL! Yup. Those are the ads I remember. Today’s anti-gun snowflakery bots would have the vapors if they only knew. And, how many of these are still out there in someones closet? Sure wish I had taken advantage of it at the time. Thanx.
