Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Wednesday that he admires White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and that he hasn't received pushback from Jared Kushner or Ivanka Trump on pushing his agenda.
Sessions was asked on the Laura Ingraham Show about reports Kushner and Ivanka Trump had more influence in the White House. Ingraham, citing reports, said Ivanka Trump and Kushner are trying to soften the President's rhetoric on immigration, unlike Bannon and former Sessions aide Stephen Miller.
"I'm an admirer of Steve Bannon and the Trump family and they've been supportive of what we're doing. I've not felt any pushback against me on anything I've done or advocated," Sessions said.
Sessions said he was committed toward ending "illegality" at the border.
Asked if anyone else shared his views on immigration in the West Wing, Session said the President did.
"He's still insisting we're gonna build this wall and he's not backing down from it. He's supported me and the Homeland Security in stepping up our enforcement at the border 100% and we're carrying out his agenda and I think that's shared throughout the White House," Sessions said. I don't believe anybody's going to object to that."

Bet NeverTrump Laura blew a gasket on that. She’s been pushing the Trump hasn’t done anything right line since she didn’t get the Press Sec job.
I am thinking the Bannon -Kushner fight is only opposing views and more a creation of the media
In other news, We have never been at war with eastasia.
You are confusing Laura with someone else. She is the farthest thing on earth from being a Nevertrumper.
Sessions is one of the few honest people in DC. I tend to believe what he says.
Yes.

You have Laura mixed up with someone else.
Agreed. He is also a Southern gentleman, through and through. He will never say a cross word about anyone on Trump’s team.
Have you listened to her lately? All she does is complain how Trump has done nothing right. Like Trump needs more critics.
She has certainly bitched about Syria. And that DACA is STILL on the books. As has most Trump supporters, deservedly so.
Laura was one of the few radio hosts that backed Trump early in the race. (Hannity, Savage & Larson the others)
I thought she didn’t want the job....She has been a little sour lately, complaining about the communication problems within the administration.;)
She definitely would have been better than Spicer, imo.
I would be happy to see Laura take Spicer’s place. She won’t take the pay cut
MSM and the left think that if they can invent a perception of disquiet within the administration and keep reporting backstabbing among aides that it will make the aides suspicious of each other and cause real backbiting and backstabbing.
At least that's my take on it.
Sessions will be on the Judge Pirro’s show Saturday night. Should be interesting.
Noonan had best be a great cook - having to eat her words and all.
Trump won as a team, All for ONE and ONE for ALL = AMERICA!
I’m not sure if Laura, or Coulter for that matter, get the ‘enormity’ of what’s going on in D.C.
If the left is not destroyed or if they get power back anytime soon, it’s all over. She won’t have a radio show anymore.
Amazing. CNN reporting this while Breitbart does all it can to hype the “change of direction” in the White House?
I’m done with Breitbart for a while.
>Sessions is one of the few honest people in DC. I tend to believe what he says.
Yep. I knew Trump was for real on illegal immigration when Sessions backed him.
