RED BANK -- The borough council voted along party lines at its meeting Wednesday night to declare Red Bank a "welcoming and inclusive community" in regards to immigration.
The three Democrats on the council voted for the resolution, while the three Republican members voted against it. Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna, a Democrat, broke the tie with a "yes" vote.
The resolution acknowledges the immigrant community in Red Bank, but stops short of declaring the borough of 12,000 people a "sanctuary city

NJ.com has a story about how to stem the “brain drain” as young Americans leave the state for greener pastures; these foreigners are being trafficked here to replace them (and the future generations lost) in housing, classrooms, and as consumers. Unfortunately, they don’t have to lift a finger themselves to do this; their costs are placed squarely on the backs of remaining Americans in town for schooling and other municipal services and on ALL American taxpayers for Section 8 housing, free school lunches, and SNAP/WIC food stamp stuff. These people are driving Americans out; NJ has had them here for decades with no offsetting benefits.
No they won’t. for Demorats there is no past. At least no past that is attributable to them, their bad ideas or their bad actions.
When the time comes they will blame racism, bigotry and capitalism. This will never have happened or, if it did, it will not have contributed to their miseries.
I bought my condo from his son. When I bought a home in Little Silver, the race went right past my house.
No they will never learn in NJ, probably can’t.
What is the make-up of your town council/trustees. Here in Clearfield Township I think they are Dems, but they are law n order gun toters. I think they will behave.

Wow....small world. The doc had like 13 kids. I used to read the old man in Runners World back in the 80s.
His son was a little strange, I remember.
They used to have a tunnel under the north/south rail tracks that you could walk to the parking lot. In the 70’s they had to fill it in because of the crime.
Much better now.
A lot of Central Americans in Red Bank now. The Italian church is now replaced with Spanish. So it goes.
One of the sons wrote a tell-all book about the old man & it was not good. That might be the son you dealt with, because he was a psychological mess from what I remember....
Oh, I’d love to read that! Now that I remember, when I bought the condo, the president of the condo told me that the old man’s wife died in the upstairs bedroom (it was a duplex). She thought it was nice to inform me but I didn’t care.

Lib infested, lots of artsy-fartsy trinket shops, some really good restaurants if you don’t mind the company of “that type”. Working class-middle class has almost all been driven out by EBT on west side and yuppies downtown and the rest. Parking is a nightmare.
Doc Sheehan...I have an autographed copy of his running/philosophy book "Running and Being". Miss the guy...post race gatherings were better if you got to have a discussion with the Doc.
The doc was so popular back in the day. Really good writer.
They must be suicidal for surely they have at least some clues what is happening in Europe.
