Trump Warns North Korea ‘Will Be Taken Care Of’ After Dropping Mother Of All Bombs On ISIS

President Donald Trump stressed that North Korea “is a problem” that will be dealt with Thursday, shortly after news broke that the U.S. military dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb in its arsenal on the Islamic State in Afghanistan.

“I don’t know if this sends a message. It doesn’t make any difference if it does or not,” Trump said. “North Korea is a problem. The problem will be taken care of.”

So your opinion is that people who have been brainwashed all their lives to believe evil outsiders want to destroy them so they have to be prepared to fight to the death are more likely to cut and run? Doesn’t make sense to me.

That said, I believe as of now the biggest threat is conventional artillery aimed at Seoul.

Nope. There is a reason that they stay.

They are totally brainwashed.

They’ll fight.

Blum (can't think of first name offhand) on C2C last night (a liberal), said if the North were suddenly liberated, they couldn't handle the kind of society in South Korea.

I wouldn't count on a military coup. Look what happened in Turkey.

Kim Foo Yong has supposedly cleared out 60% of Pongyang to make way for those left to fit in the underground shelters. We'd have to get a MOAB in there on a cargo plane which is probably not feasible but those in underground shelters can kiss it good bye should such ever happen. The world would condemn us if we were to drop one on a populous area, and no amount of spinning by TPTB would be of any use.

Same with Moscow if it ever comes to that. They have an elaborate shelter for Muscovites. Of course I wanted to repair out relations with them but my hopes are dimming.

I get fed up with Glenn Beck and his cadre and their boyish giggling, but twice recently he has had interesting guests. Today it was Jack Barsky who wrote Deep Undercover, a Russian spy who penetrated the US via Canada. His story was very compelling. He has a deep appreciation for our system but remarked that children in Russia are safer from the government than our children are from being taken away on any pretext.

He said he was atheist but the scales dropped from his eyes by a preacher, wish I had the name, was lucky to find his after the show went off the air. Said he was going to meet him personally within a week.

He said KGB in Russia you don't apply for. They recruit you and look for the best and brightest. He reminded us that Putin is ex-KGB and not to be deceived by photos shirtless with horses and such. Something to think about and look into further. There are several yt videos featuring Barsky.

I think caution needs to be taken when dealing with that kook.

So what's YOUR plan, where does it start and with whom?

Better have a plan. Can’t fight Syria, Mexico and NK at the same time and rebuild the infrastructure.

Don’t forget, they start each day a lot earlier as they are about 16 hours ahead of Pacific time (8 hours behind then one day ahead, basically). For example right now it’s 5 pm Pacific time Thursday, but there it would be 0900 Friday.

Just looked at some weather info, there’s a spring-time thunderstorm complex moving through, must be making them a bit nervous in Pyongyang.

I would say 2-3 weeks if a conventional invasion is the plan (following large-scale aerial bombing to destroy communications and cut the head off the snake). It won’t be easy, they have a large military for a medium-sized country and some elements are bound to be fanatical, others maybe not that eager to fight to the death if they see no hope.

Hard to say if this will go smoothly or not, let’s hope so, best option is to establish a massive invasion presence and let South Korea totally take the place over, offer inducements and hope that a change in diet from bark to food will win hearts and minds. I would imagine that almost everything worth hammering is within a few miles of Pyongyang or one or two other military bases, the rest of the country is basically a medieval subsistence farming operation with a brainwashed population but not used to taking any initiative therefore if head cut off, rest of snake will probably just play dead.

Yup. Leaves one guessing. Does “take care of” mean provide for their well-being or is it used in the Don Corleone sense, “take care of em”.

Re: the dug-in caves / tunnels of tube artillery pointed at Seoul.

Q. What's the immediate weakness of a cave/tunnel?

A. Collapse / concentrated overpressure within (blasts do not simply "dissipate" ...

Yeah, I thought they were about the same as daisy cutters. Impressive but expensive ordnance. Used similar before but didn't get Osama unless we did or the kidney thing did and all the years that followed were another big lie.

Thanks for the link. I watched it.

“That said, I believe as of now the biggest threat is conventional artillery aimed at Seoul.”

That’s probably why a nuke will be needed unfortunately, because I don’t know how you stop NK from attacking Seoul when we attack them.

I highly doubt that.

Attacking NK in reaction to a nuke test would be insane and not turn out well for the south
