U.S. forces have dropped what is known as the "mother of all bombs" in Afghanistan. The device is the largest non-nuclear device in the Air Force arsenal, Fox News' Jennifer Griffin reported. It was dropped in Nangarhar Province, an eastern area near the Pakistan border. It's the first time the 21,000-pound ordnance has been used in combat, said Griffin. The device, developed in 2003 by the U.S. Air Force, is called the M.O.A.B, short for Massive Ordnance Air Blast. It's often referred to as the "mother of all bombs." Watch the report above.

Strategically multi-purpose. There were reports yesterday that the Crazy Fat Kid in NK had a nuke in an underground tunnel, all prepared for testing this Saturday in “honor” of the most important national holiday in NK: the birthday of founder and first leader, Kim Il-sung. Within twenty-four hours we drop the tunnel-destroying MOAB on an ISIS-infested tunnel system. Hopefully, we killed a lot of ISIS psychos, at the same time sending a loud (BOOM!) message to the Crazy Fat Kid. Could be a win-win.
In the meantime, I like to think that Putin said something like this when he heard the news: “Holy chit, this guy is even crazier than Reagan! Who knows what he will do next?!?”

The 21,600-pound, GPS-guided MOAB is the most powerful, non nuclear bomb ever built. The following data gives you an idea to the awesome lethality of the MOAB:
Up to 1,000 yards: Obliterates everything.
Up to 1 mile: Knocks people, tents, light buildings, cars and jeeps over within 1-mile radius.
Up to 1.7 miles: shock wave kills people, causes severe damage to buildings, equipment, blows trucks, tanks off road.
Up to 2 miles: causes deafness.
Up to 5 miles: shakes ground, breaks windows.
Up to 30 miles: 10,000 foot high mushroom cloud visible.

From what I have read you are correct. There are other bombs designed for the B-2. The GBU-57A/B was designed for the B-2. It is only 20.5 Feet versus the 30 feet of the GBU-43.

While many media sources tout the GBU-43/B as the largest conventional bomb ever built, it’s not really the case. The U.S. Air Force also fields the GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), which is a massive precision-guided 30,000lb bunker-busting weapon that is usually dropped from a Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. However, the GBU-57A/B only contains 5,300lbs of explosive filler—the vast bulk of the weapon comes from the hardened casing.
The casing is what allows the massive GBU-57 weapon to penetrate some of the hardest bunkers potential adversaries have built. The Air Force is currently developing a Next Generation Penetrator Munition to replace the MOP as enemy fortifications become ever more hardened and deeply buried.
Meanwhile, not to be out done, Russia’s ATBIP—though physically smaller than the GBU-43/B—has a much larger explosive yield. Based around thermobaric explosives, the ATBIP–sometimes called the ‘Father of All Bombs’–has the destructive power equivalent to roughly 88,000lbs of TNT, which is roughly four times that of the MOAB. The Russian weapons also has roughly double the blast radius...”

That is not true.
We did succeed in Iraq. We left forces there who were training the Iraqi people to enforce their new laws.
However, when Obama came into office, HE CHOOSE TO REMOVE THE STATUS OF FORCES THERE .. AND THIS ALLOWED THE ENEMY TO REGROUP AND GO BACK INTO IRAQ.
IT WAS OBAMA WHO DESTROYED THE WIN IN IRAQ.

Outside of the Free Republic post you provided, I found no information that states the GBU-43/B can be deployed from the B-2. Do you have an external source that says as such?
