Trump then brought up how Comey announced in July he wouldn't recommend prosecution over Clinton's email server while secretary of state.
"Don't forget when Jim Comey came out, he saved Hillary Clinton," Trump said. "People don't realize that. He saved her life. Because I call it 'Comey 1.' And I joke about it a little bit. When he was reading those charges, she was guilty of every charge. And then he said she was essentially OK."

Is Sessions recused because the DNC says Russians hacked her server?
Also, can Sessions file a criminal complaint without a case brought over by the FBI?
My understanding is it is Andrew McCabe that is stonewalling on it. McCabe was brought in January 2016 as Deputy FBI Director and is widely viewed and documented as a dirty cop who hates Trump. The President won’t fire him presumably because of the Russian investigation. Same with Comey.
COMEY ONLY MAKES A ‘RECOMMENDATION’
Sessions does not have to accept his recommendation
“Why hasn’t Sessions made a move?”
You conclude there is no “move” when there’s an ongoing investigation into a far larger kettle of vermin, “The Clinton Foundation.”
Its tentacles span all of the US and the globe. An investigation was going on in four US cities and being blocked by Loretta Lynch.
You think that’s happening now?
Let the professionals do their jobs. It takes time for a massive, global corrupt spectacle that is the CF.
I agree.
I think back to my earliest days at FR back in 1998, we felt like we were conspiracy kooks at EVERY turn.
Little did we know that we’d greatly UNDERESTIMATED the deviousness of the Clintons, their handlers like Soros, henchmen, and associates. We are living a political corruption scandal that is very deep and powerful, but could possibly be brought to an end if Trump and the American people have the guts to get on with it.
Trump has been for the most part living up to my expectations, and I think that the more he puts the right people into place, the good stuff is coming.
He’s likely to allow the system to destroy itself by starting at the bottom of the totem pole, slowly working up, ensnaring the bigger fish in a nice little game that he’s in control of. He seems to enjoy that kind of thing. He’s too old and wealthy enough to be looking at this Presidency in the wrong light. Call me naive, but this last chapter of his career is for a higher calling.
Comey cant stop Sessions from prosecuting the old crook.
...
Yep, and I believe this is Trump’s shot across her bow. She needs to sit down, shut up, and be thankful she isn’t going to prison.
True, but why is he talking about it?
He played this game before and it’s a show. As soon as he had the actual authority, he changed his tune and said he won’t lock her up.
Comey cant stop Sessions from prosecuting the old crook.
Yes, he told the truth about her many illegalities, then just let her skate.
---------------------------------------------------------
Comey, Lynch and many in the State Dept are guilty of obstruction of justice. IF Hussein can be shown to have ordered the Hillary gambit, then he is guilty of obstruction too (it's only a matter of proving Hussein's involvement, no illegal moves like this would ever have happened without Hussein ramrodding the Clinton scam.
AG Sessions and President Trump cannot let well known felons like BOTH Bill and Hillary skate. They BOTH have to be prosecuted. But both have to be so slam dunked charged that both end up plea bargaining.
Keeping Comey as FBI Dir may have been more genius of President Trump. Keeping this knucklehead in allows him to continue to look for Russians which will expose even more RATS to prosecution. It also puts him in the position to have to continue to lie as an official.
If the Clintons and other RATS are not prosecuted, I will join many other Americans with protest signs outside the White House. Prosecution MUST be done for law and order to start again to be the norm, not the exception.
And that includes former Att. Gen'l Lynch too. "I listened to the "TEAM" for recommendations" and Hillary is going to skate. "BARRACK HUSSEIN told me to obstruct justice, and I did."
Patience, patience, patience. It has to be done right or some of these scum RATS will skate. We all want them exposed and prosecuted and President Trump has no options in this regard. Even Marsha Clark could successfully prosecute Hillary.
Now that the Senate has done away with the filibuster, and now that the Russia hacked the election issue blew itself up real good - the Senate leadership (I know, what's that?) should just ask Trump for a list of nominees and then pass an Omnibus confirmation bill - say next week. It is long since past time we moved along with moving things along.
“Why hasn’t Sessions made a move?”
Patience, grasshopper.
You can prosecute her now for what we know and prosecute her later on the foundation issues.
“Why hasn’t Sessions made a move?”
Timing! Timing is everything! When the time is right, Sessions will be there. Right now prosecuting Hasbeen Hillary is not that high on the Trump Admin’s priority list. Getting the illegal aliens out of the country is far more important at the moment.
gathering information to charge her with child rape, torturing, and sacrifice.
Bringing Hillary Clinton to justice was one of Trump’s campaign promises and I’m going to hold him to it. If any of us here had handled even one piece of classified information as carelessly as Hillary did we would be rotting in jail right now.
I had high hopes for Trump/Sessions on this matter but those hopes are fading, as per my tag-line.
It’s talk for the base. Trump doesn’t have the guts to charge Hillary Clinton. He just doesn’t.
Comey's excuse last summer was that although Hillary was guilty, Loretta Lynch's DOJ would not prosecute.
Cue Tessio, “for old times’ sake”.
Clearly, she is too big to prosecute.
Justice, really means “just us”. They act like the Blacks (not all) with BLM....they know they’re guilty, but they don’t prosecute because they are one of them.
Since first discovering Free Republic, I've learned a bit about "normalcy bias" first hand as it applies to our political and social realities and the truths that can NEVER be told, but I couldn't make much sense of it.
Fortunately, the movie Men In Black came along about the same time with an explanation.
Obviously, Agents J and K are talking about alien life not of Earth, but I've ran into the same sort of thing talking politics with progressive true believers who get all of their info from the media echo chamber.
Here are two examples that helped me. The first:
Kay: Humans, for the most part, don't have a clue. Don't want one.And the second:
They're happy. They think they have a good bead on things.
Edwards: Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.
Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it.
Kay: We do not discharge our weapons in view of the public! That last part seems to hit the nail squarely on the head.
Jay: Man, we ain't got time for this cover-up bullshit! I don't know whether or not you've forgotten, but there's an Arquillian Battle Cruiser that's about to...
Kay: There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!
Trump has his work cut out for him and he won't be getting much help from either party and about half of the US population.
God bless Donald J. Trump for taking on the impossible!
