Poll results are available there.
Ron Estes (Republican)
James Thompson (Democratic)
Nooooooo, not Texas! I always wanted to be real, true blue (no pun intended) Texan. Maybe in my next life, unless it is all liberal.
Ron Estes
Republican
46,176 52.5%
James Thompson
Democrat
40,305 45.8
Chris Rockhold
Libertarian
1,534 1.7
Another 24 precincts were reported in Sedgwick, and Estes picked up a couple of votes. County tally with 151 out of 257 in:
James A. Thompson ...... 30441 / 52%
Chris Rockhold ...... 943 / 1%
Ron Estes ...... 26520 / 45%
Hope the R wins all the counties. It looks doable.
Where are you tracking Sedgwick?
So true.. if the Libertarian Party wasn’t pro illegal...I might still support them..But the Tea Party is better...
Newton and Harvey County now all in, Estes carries county by 493 votes after trailing early, 3,860 to 3,367.
James Thompson (Democratic) 46.0% 44,059
79.9% Reporting, 95,748 Total Votes
It’s probably part of the astroturf strategy of the democrat operation to defeat Estes. Since this was the only election going, I’m sure they were pulling out all the tricks.

Meanwhile in GA:
“Day 13 of in-person early voting in GA-6 is R 52, D 35—best GOP yet, and in-line with RV pool.
Over all, D 46, R 37 with 32363 votes cast”

Keep DEM below 50% in 1st round and REP wins in the 2nd round.
Strong win in my opinion.
Especially with how much the dems pumped in money.
If GA-6 RV pool is R 52, D 35, then Rs are going to win in the 2nd round.
It was a good win, but I will withhold judgment on how strong it was since I am not familiar with the candidates. I lived in Lawrence for four years a long time ago. KS is still a conservative state.
It’s over in KS. Dems don’t get any early Christmas present only a lump of coal.
Copy.
Thanks for the encouraging news.
I’m in Ga-8 district(Houston County)
AP caught up when it looked like the Dem had a shot.
Now Wichita is trying to hold their totals long enough for the Eastern time Zone stations to report the race is “too close to call!”.
Looks like Estes(R) is only going to win by twety-some hundred votes.
yup- never mind once again the lying alt left media was predicting this would be the start of the GOP downfall due to Trump’s election....all week “Republicans are scared, BS, BS, BS”...
this was one of the headlines from Sunday, which i posted in another thread: “Special election could topple GOP control of Congress”
It’s changing so much...San Antonio used to be red...not anymore!! Liberalism/globalism is spreading like a tumor on steroids!! Truly sad!! And I ain’t even talking yet of the rest of the big metropolitan cities! Deep blue...
