Mom, thanks! We hope to make it. The drive is a rough one for us if we do it in one day, almost 10 hours. We’ll see. Last year we took an extra day to travel, both ways. Don’t yet know if we could pull that off this year.

The shoot willnd be held at Hicksville Gun Range, in Gatesville, starting at 10:00 a.m. on the 21st. Where once again we can enjoy the range dogs, the owners and lunch provided by our own cook, cpdiii. I regret being unable to get back to Texas to attend Eaker's auditory sendoff, but can at least participate in the event where I am at present. 10:00 a.m. on the 21st, Texas time? Commence firing! On the way!

humblegunner has volunteered to make some containers in which to place Eaker’s ashes, which will be attached to containers of tannerite so that we can all blow Eaker’s ashes into the wind. It will be an epic send off!OMG, That is awesome!

My intention is to fabricate some clay jars with
lids.. about the size of a school milk carton.. with
flat bottoms.
These can be placed atop the Tannerite containers and
should disintegrate just fine and leave nothing to clean up.
