I don’t know, the stats on sober people crashing while texting doesn’t really seem to back that up.

I agree. Where I differ with you, is that most of the stats would probably reveal someone making a few texts, then making a mistake to cause the accident. They may have only texted a few times.
This guy was observed driving for miles going every which way.
This isn’t something I’ve got a burden on, so I’m not opposed to your view on it. You could be more right than I think.
