Report: Breitbart Staffers Told They Can’t Criticize Jared Kushner Anymore

Senior editors at pro-Trump website Breitbart News have instructed staff members to stop writing critical stories of Jared Kushner, sources tell Business Insider.

Kushner, son-in-law and adviser to President Trump, has clashed recently with White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, the former CEO of Breitbart News.

The New York Times previously reported that “Kushner allies have also raised the issue with the president of the increasingly unflattering coverage that Mr. Kushner is receiving from Breitbart News.”

Trump reportedly told the populist Bannon and the more moderate Kushner to “work this out” after the pair’s feud was repeatedly dragged out into the press, according to the Times.

Breitbart ran stories critical of Kushner before Trump reportedly ordered the ceasefire.

One Breitbart story suggested Kushner was leaking negative information about Bannon to the press, while another ran down a list of “delicate problems” Trump has trusted Kushner — who, the article accurately noted, “boasts a thin resume in diplomacy.”

Breitbart pushed back against the Business Insider report. “It is an absurd suggestion that Breitbart would muzzle critical coverage of any senior White House official,” a spokesman for the site said.

I think you are downplaying the real policy differences between Bannon and Kushner and between Bannon and the people Kushner and Ivanka have got into the administration.

Agree with the Gorilla mindset.

It is not bad to have diverse viewpoints but ideologues like Jared are dangerous. He and Ivanka are hard core Postmodernists where Slavery is Freedom, Up is Down and War is Peace. They do NOT believe in Natural Law Theory (our Constitution) at all since all collectivists believe in moral relativism and THEY decide Good and Evil and some groups are more “special” than other groups.

Bannon has to have neckties older than this kid. Can’t they find him something to do, like Fredo?

LOL

One other thing...Maybe it is just me but doesn’t Jared look like he is 16—a baby face. That doesn’t do much for optics.

Is that like how they were told within a couple hours to tell everyone they were 100% sure Andrew died of natural causes?

It does if Bannon’s former employees, thinking they are helping, are weakening his power.

It hurts all of us, & Bannon knows us. BB needs to shut up & worry about Dems.

There are differences. Don’t buy into the fake news war.

“BB needs to shut up & worry about Dems.”

The irony, of course, is that Kushner indeed is a lifelong Democrat—bringing more Democrats into the admin all the time.

I am so beyond tired of simple, verifiable facts being cast as “fake news”. Not a legitimate argument here or elsewhere.

Bigger question is this fake news or not?

What is your source for a duscusdion inside BB?

Before you answer, you might want to know that I know Boyle, Flannery, and wrote a book w Joel Pollock, the senior editors, (not to mention Bannon (so when you present your evidence, I will confirm.

Now, go ahead. Shoot. Whatcha got?

I know that already. I also know that you had the judgment to recommend McMaster as Trump’s NSA.

Next question?

That Kushner is a lifelong Democrat? There are actual records for that, as you know. But I am comfortable with the likes of NYer and strong Trump supporter Sean Hannity regularly stating it over the past year. Have I actually gone in to look at the NY voter rolls? And is there a good chance that Kushner may have unenrolled in the party since joining the administration? Sure.

I suppose you want to consider all of the press reports of Kushner being instrumental in bringing in the likes of big Democrats and Democrat donors Gary Cohn and Steve Mnuchin, too?

Maybe we should just chuck our belief in any stories if they haven’t come from you directly here.

That’s it?

So you have no evidence. Then please don’t pretend you do.

So are you claiming now that Kushner hasn’t been a lifelong Democrat? That the likes of Trump friendly Hannity repeated that without any correction?

No press reports are evidence of the obvious, but you are the sole source if information on the admin and current events that FR should count on? That’s really your claim here?
