President Donald Trumps path to the White House was paved in large measure by white working-class voters. But he isnt exactly returning the favor to these Americans, who are dying in shockingly high numbers in middle age.

The updated study, released by the Brookings Institution, confirms that deaths of despair rose most dramatically between 1999 and 2015 for white Americans with a high school degree or less.
Trump was not President during those years so how was he at fault? Anyhow this white working man is happy that Trump put a conservative on the Supreme Court so I in no way feel "stiffed".

I've looked and looked and have yet to see Donald Trump walking on water, changing water to wine, or raising the dead. . . and no matter what angle the photos are taken of him, unlike the photos taken of Obambi, I have yet to see a halo around his head. . . what are they expecting? Instantaneous miracles?

Trump can not be logically blamed for the previous decades of the working and tax paying people being forced to pay for the lazy, affirmative filth, just plain bad segments of society.

In their lame attempt to blame Trump, this article actually gets it right:
The white working class IS getting stiffed.
And it’s ON PURPOSE.
Contrived by the same Swampies who want a war with Russia.

Eight years of Obama, and white was a bad word, the MSM glad to trash the men in white. 80 days into Trump’s presidency, and he owns it. Logic sounds pretty California to me, all right. Perfect sense in Sacramento.

But of course no sympathy for the White (and all others too) middle class who just got a $0.12 cent per gallon additional gas tax on top of the already highest (state) gas tax per gallon in the nation. And don’t forget this little gem was accompanied by a sister plan, raising our vehicle registration fees again.
Brown and his California Quisling Democrats, won’t be happy until we’re walking over the border to Mexico to get jobs and relief from government oppression.

Wow, he’s not even in office for 100 days and already he’s killed off most of America.
How will we ever survive.

Trump was not President during those years [1999-2015] so how was he at fault? That's close enough.

1999-2015 corresponds with the rise of ‘progressivism’ in the USA. The white working class has been subjected to degradation, humiliation, physical attacks, hysterical rantings, censorship and forced immersion into abnormal social norms, driven by emotionally unbalanced puppets, and designed to disrupt the family unit - the basis of all norms. So, yeah, I can see ‘dispair’. What I don’t understand is why anyone is pretending surprise since that was, and continues to be, the intended objective of the Left from the start.

The Sacramento Bee would cheerfully toss every blue-collar white man in the country into a meat-grinder.

If Trump really wants to be the champion of forgotten Americans, he would focus far more on reversing the loss of good middle-income jobs highlighted by the updated study as an underlying cause of the spiking death rate, triggering economic and social problems that build up over time. Trump did more to bring back good jobs before he was sworn in than Obama did in eight years.
