WASHINGTON (AP) -- A senior U.S. official says the United States has concluded that Russia knew in advance of Syria's chemical weapons attack last week.
The official says a Russian-operated drone flew over a hospital in Syria as victims of the attack were rushing to get treatment.
Hours after the drone left, a Russian-made fighter jet bombed the hospital in what American officials believe was an attempt to cover up the usage of chemical weapons.
Until Monday, U.S. officials had said they weren't sure if the drone was operated by Russia or Syria. The senior official said it still wasn't clear who was flying the jet that bombed the hospital.

We've seen the BS spin put on stories, along with outright falsehoods, while hiding behind the “anonymous” label.
For instance, I know an anonymous source who claims that the FR user Jarhead9297 enjoys daily sex with an unnamed Donkey.
Now, what precisely makes that statement false? The fact that it is an outright lie? Nope. The fact that the subject knows that it is a lie is the only true indicator that the statement was false. To any casual observer, per your assertion, there is no reason to believe my statement was false. After all, an anonymous source could quite likely be telling the truth!
In any case, I, along with many, are sick to death of the “anonymous” shield and will no longer “believe” such tripe unless accompanied with a definitive source who is not afraid to stand up for their statements.
But, by all means, continue your relentless attacks on fellow FReepers in your alliance with McCain, Grahamnesty, the Saudis and others to advance their desires for a further war against the Syrian forces.

I believe Russia will either reject putin or we will have to head back to containment. Of course, some pseudo conservatives want putin to empire. Trump and Tillerson see the intel and reports that show putin is leading Russia down a reckless path to restore the evil empire, as Reagan called it.
You’re just mad at America and anyone or country who aligns with it. You can rail against any US Senator and US ally, and cheer for all the enemies of the USA, even if they’re trying to undermine president Trump. That’s the pattern that tells your values.
I believe you’re right. As much as they squeal like young girls with delight for assad, their real love, their real affection is for putin. Ever since putin started taking off his shirt and showing his flabby body, he’s had a strange type of pseudo conservative who will follow him anywhere.
You’re the one who decided that that quote fit you, and if it does, then why run away from it. You should embrace your fondness and affection for putin.
