President Donald Trump’s deputy national security adviser, K.T. McFarland, is expected to step down and has been offered the position of U.S. ambassador to Singapore, a U.S. official said on Sunday.
The move comes as Trump's national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, retools the national security team he inherited from retired General Michael Flynn, who resigned as Trump's first national security adviser in February.
The 65-year-old McFarland is a former national security analyst for Fox News and was one of Trump's original hires after he was elected president on Nov. 8.
News of her pending departure came less than a week after Trump removed his chief strategist, Steve Bannon, from a seat on the National Security Council at the urging of McMaster.

She was great on Lou Dobbs’ show last year. Ambassador to Singapore sounds like a slap in the face. She didn’t deserve it, if true. Will wait and see.

I think it is possibly that, especially if it is coming from the Squids or the Zoomies, or the Beltway Bandits that specialize in serving (screwing) those two high-expense services, but perhaps something simpler.
There has always been a cadre of “I know better”, “only I know better” and “only I have the real inside information” con artists. Usually their BS died as the cone-shaped paper cups from the water cooler gripe session were thrown away and everyone went back to the real world.
At the professional level, it could be big time. Look at Jeanne Dixon, Kreskin, or 90% of the TV preachers out there.
One guy was even selling Jesus Soap. It was a 20 oz bottle of cheap knock-off dish-washing liquid into which small Xeroxed paper strips with phrases such as “Jesus Saves, and “Jesus loves you” had been inserted, mixed with the liquid soap. Channel 55 here in Orlando sold it for $19.95 per bottle, (plus S+H), with the advertising phrase, “You will being praising Jesus every time you do the dishes!!!”
Now they have internet connections, great looking sites, and they suck people in with the BS artist’s rewards being ego satisfaction and/or the $ they get from click bait advertising.
Who knows?
BTW, at the “gee whiz” level, high powered lasers are about to rewrite the entire TacAir, Armor and Surface Warfare playbook, and the smart zoomies are trying to get pilots out of the TacAir a/c as soon as possible.
It is not a far reach to think of a low observablity nuc submarine, which already has plenty of electric generating power, popping a laser head out of the water and zapping a carrier.
How about a one ton truck with a laser in the back that rules the air, horizon to horizon or has the ability to destroy any tank at the speed of light?
It is a long way from a concept to a system that is deployable, maintainable with associated trained operators and operating doctrine and tactics - much less a willing enemy to use it all on.
And lasers don't work well against sand in the desert. Nuclear weapons don't work well against stand in the desert.

All this speculation reminds me of the cold war days with Stalin and his sucessors. The annual May Day parade was watched closely by the West for clues as to who was in and who was out as an advisor to the Soviet leader. Placement on the reviewing stand in Red Square led to speculation as to who would be next to go. Of course, under Stalin departure usually meant exile to Siberian salt mines or execution.

One of Soros’s investments entities invested 250 million in a larger deal
I don’t know if they e exited yet or not but they got their equity share of the deal
They and scores of others have ponied up usually 50 million minimum to invest on deals you review online at Cadre
Thes sales never hit usual multiple listings like NAI or CB RICHARD ELLIS as commercial real estate sales or offerings
It’s very fascinating to me and I love the idea in general
Folks here just run with so little fact sometimes making such broad accusations
Soros and his top brass are not stupid at making money and they saw a good deal
Knowing Soros he’s studying the model to replicate it
