H. R. McMaster Manipulating Intelligence Reports to Trump, Wants 150,000 Ground Soldiers in Syria
Current National Security Adviser Herbert Raymond H. R. McMaster is manipulating intelligence reports given to President Donald Trump,
No kidding. I follow Cernovich on twitter, he’s always been a bit fringy, now he’s over the top.
With you on this. Wonder if this is another “canary trap” by Trump to see who is leaking?

The article is in two parts.
His job is to sort through the intel
Working with Petraeus to start a ground war? I doubt it
I’m sure that there is such a plan, and if it were leaked, it would be very controversial. It doesn’t mean that the plan is anywhere near being executed, however. In fact, the leaker’s motiviation is very likely to prevent that potential troop deployment.
Let’s see — and debate — the evidence that Assad did this before that view, like global warming, becomes one more global opinion that is too politically correct to deny. We should approach this realizing that Assad’s enemies had every incentive to do a false flag. And WE have the burden of proof since we attacked a nation that did not attack us first.
If Trump puts troops in Syria we’ll know Cernovich has good sources. I think this will cost Trump a lot of support. I disagree with his missile attack. But troops on the ground .... That’s just plain stupid. The proof is how happy it would make McCain.
And for those of us who say we want to nuke some dictator, I don’t believe the military would obey that order. There would be a coup some of us wanted to see against Obama.
Dont know if this is true. Pretty thin on evidence.
However, it would be consistent with the theme of his book Dereliction of Duty about the failure of the joint chiefs, LBJ and MacNamara to squarely confront the reality that we either had to get out of Vietnam early (19636465) or else ramp up big time early (i.e., on order of 750,000 troops, with operations in Laos/Cambodia/North Vietnam. The same reality facing is needed with regard to Syria as well, starting with a clearly specified political end-state we are after. Simply getting rid of Assad is not a clearly specified political end state.
If this article is true, the implication is that McMasters is working toward some defined political outcome as an objective. We really need to know what that is and who buys into it.
Sorry General, I may have been only a Captain in the artillery, but I know enough to say yours is not a good plan. We must stay in a support role.
