A history professor at California State University, Fresno, appears to have advocated for the death of President Donald Trump on Twitter.
Tweets from an account purportedly operated by Professor Lars Maischak call for Trump to “hang” in order to “save American democracy,” and say the only “cure” for racist people is a bullet to their head. The account is not verified, although the bio and interactions between the user and other Twitter users indicate it belongs to the professor.
“To save American democracy, Trump must hang,” Professor Lars Maischak appears to have tweeted in February. “The sooner and the higher, the better. #TheResistance #DeathToFascism.”
“Has anyone started soliciting money and design drafts for a monument honoring the Trump assassin, yet?” the user wrote in another tweet a few days later, along with the hashtag “TheResistance.”
And in another: “#TheResistance #ethniccleansing Justice = The execution of two Republicans for each deported immigrant.”
The user has also said “mercy towards racists” is a “fatal weakness” of Americans.
“#TheResistance Mercy towards racists was always the fatal weakness of good Americans,” he tweeted. “1865, 1965, they left too many of them alive.”
Other tweets include thoughts on “fascist” Trump supporters and said the GOP.
“#WhenCaliforniaSecedes, You Fascist Trump-voting white trash scum can wallow in your filthy hell-holes of flyover states,” he tweeted. “Enjoy.”
“#TheResistance A democracy must not be tolerant of those who want to abolish democracy. It must vigorously defend itself. Ban the @GOP.”
The user also compared Trump to Hitler in other tweets.
The account has existed since June, 2013.
Maischak did not reply to multiple requests for comment. A spokeswoman for CSU Fresno told The Daily Caller News Foundation Maischak’s comments on social media do not represent the university. “Lars Maischak is employed as a lecturer at Fresno State,” Margarita Adona told TheDCNF. “Statements made on his personal social media accounts are his alone and are not endorsed by or reflect the position of the University.”

I find it deeply disturbing and despicable that any real American would wish the President harm. I know of nobody who said this kind of garbage about Obama even though he was despised immensely by my circle of friends. I heard about those who hated Kennedy when I was a kid and it made no sense to me. Yes, “where has America gone?”
This corrupt soul and his ilk epitomize the ugly face of modern "progressive" totalitarianism—a Monster that glorifies and urges political Assassinations, suppression of "politically incorrect" Speech with Violence, and—some glorious day—herding "deplorables" into boxcars to send them to Government re-education camps.
Whether individually or collectively, these fanatical ideologues are every bit as dangerous as the historical Tyrants and Regimes they claim to despise—yet they closely emulate those paradigms.
Can it be the these people don't realize that they have become what they decry?

Great story! I haven’t seen this one. I love writing about the college insanity on my web site. Great find :) These professors are INSANE. The NYU professor who goes on Fox sometimes has great stories. People will die if this stupidity doesn’t stop. They are PROFESSORS, yet brainless.

If he lived he could be handed a parachute when thrown out of a jet at 10,000 feet over the middle of any ocean. No instructions and no time to put it on though. well that’s quite the double standard from U of C. If a company employee says something, the company must pay, and has to fire that person, but if a state employee says something, it’s we can’t control his free speech time.
