President Trump will swear in Neil Gorsuch as an associate Supreme Court justice early next week, the White House said Friday.
Trump is at his West Palm Beach resort this weekend, and therefore cannot swear in Gorsuch in the next few days, according to White House spokesman Sean Spicer.

When you get one more conservative on the court, what will happen is that it will buck up the courage of Kennedy and to some extent, Roberts (although he is compromised in some way). When there is a majority without need for Kennedy, and the pressure of being the 5th vote is gone, his weak-minded vote will go with the majority. Hence, we will see a series of 6-3 votes, and, with one more pick during Trumps’ terms, we will be at 7-2. Of course, Thomas is also likely to retire during the next 8 years, so he will have to be replaced with a conservative. Picks will have to remain conservative after selection, which we don’t have a great track record of. But there is hope to beginning the reversal of the tyranny of the Judiciary.
What can be done to remove Supreme Court Judges?
Sotomoayer is an idiot- you would think that would be enought.
And writing ‘decisions’ that create new law should be grounds for some sort of action...
How about if Congress took any judicial activism and immediately claimed that they overstepped their bound into Congressional territory- and made a motion that any law declared “unconstitutional’ CANNOT be re-written by the drudges, but re-submitted to congress.
I am not even sure where they get the authority to be the ultimate decision-makers. They should only decide if someone followed the laws- as written.
Congress can write and re-write them.
That would be an interesting way to challenge Marbury-vs-Madison.
When Ginsburg dies, the left will conceal her death and she will merely be a ‘no show’ at the court. There’s no way the left allows Trump to replace her, so she’ll be “out sick” for YEARS. LOL
