Many former Donald Trump supporters have turned on the President after his decision to retaliate against the Assad regime for its chemical weapons attack.

Nigel Farage, Milo Yiannopoulos Katie Hopkins, right-wing vlogger Paul Joseph Watson, Ukip leader Paul Nuttall and Ukip donor Arron Banks are among the Trump supporters who have been disappointed by their hero.

Mr Farage said: "I am very surprised by this. I think a lot of Trump voters will be waking up this morning and scratching their heads and saying 'where will it all end?'

He’s a sharp kid, but a bit out of his element.

Throw in Ted Cruz with Pelosi too.

Yes, but they have Bo Bergdahl (and all 50 of his alt IDs) with them against President Trump.

Ivanka & Kushner have a history that is much more in common with policies FTBO Schumer and Soros than MAGA and freepers. Nepotism is always bad in government. Worse when the nepotists are Trojan Horses. If Bannon is kicked out we’ll know that it was all BS.

I’m thinking Fox News is lying to cover Trump’s lies that Assad did this.

Yes, and why would Assad take this risk. Is it possible that DJT had this intelligence manufactured?

“Israel is now sleeping better as a result”

And we should care about that because?

If Israel has a problem with Assad, let them do the dirty work.

I want Trump to focus on more important issues such as The Wall.

>Someone tried to tell me that our hands were clean with the Pinochet mess. Not true.

Actually our hands where clean with Pinochet. Pinochet was put in charge the Military by the socialist president because he’d lost popular support and Pinochet was suppose to keep him in power when he suspended the Constitution. The coup consisted of junior officers holding guns on Pinochet and telling him to sign the document making the coup legal. The junior officers then ran the coup and killed the commie president. After the coup was over it took them almost 36 hours to find Pinochet to put him charge. He was hiding out with his grand children afraid for his future.

Pinochet is actually one of the most effective leaders of the 20th century. Most of the people he killed where Communists or criminals. He ended the drug problem by rounding up the dealers and shooting them, he created a very successful capitalist economy in the middle of an area dominated by socialists, and turned Chile into a very successful nation.

The reason the left endless brings up the CIA coup of Pinochet is hide the fact that most CIA coups are actually in support of leftists. Leftists control the state department and the CIA is a creature of the state department. Castro was a CIA coup. Ever wonder why all the CIA organized activities against Castro failed so badly? They were kabuki theater to fool the president.

I still support Trump but am very disappointed by the strikes.

I value the opinion of Farage, Hopkins, etc. than I do the useless opinions of non-allies such as Merkel and Hollande. Even the monster, Erdogan, approves.

All the wrong people are supporting this.

If it makes you feel better it was a very smart political move. One the best moves I’ve ever seen a by a sitting president. Trump will have a lot more support going forward and that’s coming from a guy who hates the idea of getting involved in Syria.

>I hope you’re right.

I’m pretty sure I am. However the Neo-cons are now pushing Trump to launch airstrikes against the Russians for “trying to cover up for Assad’s attack”. Give the Neo-cons a little taste of blood and soon they’ll be trying to drain the how cow. I hope Trump resists them and I suspect he will. Even a noted idiot like Obama realized that directly attacking Russia is political suicide no mater how much the left and the neo-cons want it.

So, why would Assad use sarin?

It’s a good question lacking a good answer
As you suggest, it’s fairly simple to kill 70 people with conventional bombs or rounds. An alternative theory that Syria bombed a weapons cache that included chemical weapons also makes sense. Makes more sense actually. And it puts the blame on the rebels.

So, logic does not support that Assad had any reason to do this, and lots of reason not to do it.

We await evidence.
