Russias Rossiya 24 news channel has revealed the first footage from the Shayrat airbase, which the United States hit with a volley of 59 Tomahawk missiles after an alleged chemical attack in Idlib earlier this week.

what a waste - now we are fighting on same side as ISIS
Do you know that for sure? I just think we are in another war and we don’t know who the good guys and bad guys are.. Did trump call for regime change? I just heard that and I am not a fan.
Funny, ISIS is complaining about this just like you.
I’m now almost certain that this was nothing more than a staged TV drama.
When a bad earthquake hit Seattle, one single building by Occidental park was severely damaged. That building was all you saw on the nightly news, giving the impression that the city was severely hit. It wasn’t, and that building was one of the oldest in the city.
I think the exact opposite is going on here. Just a thought.
I guess we couldn’t spare any missiles to drop on ISIS
>Funny, ISIS is complaining about this just like you.
Actually ISIS launched an attack yesterday right after the airstrikes in that area. Best to strike when the Syrian army’s air force can’t respond.
They were too busy looking for more red lines to cross.
Found this on twitter:
7/ AlERT: Both S-400s & S-300s were fired against the #Tomahawks bringing down 36 of the 59 #US missiles fired; some fell near #Tartous.
I wonder how accurate this is? If accurate that means about 37% of our missiles will make it past S-400 and S-300 systems.
Propaganda photos, if that is all the damage from 50 tomahawk strikes
We need to build bigger ones.

video of Amir Tsarfati saying Israeli intelligence is positive it was Assad behind attacks.
Don’t think Trump wanted to kill people. Think he just wanted to get rid of the chemical weapons.
If Syria doesn’t want their airforce degraded, they shouldn’t use their bases to launch chemical attacks:
‘WASHINGTON U.S. warships launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday against the Syrian air base that Washington said was used to launch chemical attacks that killed scores of civilians this week.’

Got proof?
Assad might actually be guilty of using chemical weapons.
Love the bit about “low efficiency”. And the bit about the runway and taxiways not being destroyed.
Runways and taxiways aren’t a cruise missile target: that requires weapons that can penetrate the concrete BEFORE exploding.
I’m guessing combined-effect submunitions. . .
Fake news. Try again.
“Think he just wanted to get rid of the chemical weapons.”
One of the stories stated that the made sure not to hit any chemical weapons storage areas
I’ve read quite a few conflicting stories on how effective the missiles were. Everything from 6 planes hit; to the base almost completely destroyed.
The President has a lot of former supporters who are now enemies this morning. Such loyalty. I read an AP story that had statements from governments around the world and a surprising amount of them are supportive of the President’s actions. More supportive than his alleged supporters at home. I don’t think this has hurt him on the world stage one bit.
Not an article I’ve read. - Think we’ll have to wait and see what comes out over the next few hours. — We do know a couple of things for sure though, he didn’t want to kill people and the missiles were in retaliation for the civilian deaths.
