Study offers a dire warning on climate change
Boston Globe ^ | April 6, 2017 | By Chelsea Harvey

Continuing to burn fossil fuels at the current rate could bring atmospheric carbon dioxide to its highest concentration in 50 million years, jumping from about 400 parts per million now to more than 900 parts per million by the end of this century, a study warns.

Some research suggests that, if humans burned through all fossil fuels on Earth, atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations could hit 5,000 parts per million by the year 2400.

The new study speaks to the power of human influence over the climate. It suggests that after millions of years of relative stability in the absence of human activity, just a few hundred years of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions are on track to cause unprecedented warming.

Ok Boston Globe physics flunkouts, how about a little chart showing the percentage of C02 in the atmosphere (4 one hundredths of one percent) , and the percentage of that which is human caused (I believe it’s 3 percent of that 3 one hundredths.)

Then follow it by a sensitivity analysis showing that even if we eliminated our contribution totally, it would not affect the outcome.

There’d be less plant life. And thereby less non-human animal life.

At one point in ancient history, CO2 was 7000 parts per million, and yet, life at that time survived.

How about a bill to prosecute AGW alarmists?

“If you federal funds to perpetrate a scientific fraud, you’re subject to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 dollar fine.”

Now, THERE'S an Inconvenient Truth!

These guys never quit... "Highest CO2 in 50 MIllion years!!".... Umn, the earth has been around a LOT longer than 50 Million years. Who was driving SUV's 50 Million years ago?

Personally, I have great faith that we WON'T be heavily reliant on fossil fuels by the end of the century. Eventually, better energy sources will be found. We'll never find them if we turn out the lights now and move back to the caves.

Our local Gannett rag recently published a "sky-is-falling" GW letter from a nun.
Unbelievable.

Some research suggests that, if humans burned through all fossil fuels on Earth, atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations could hit 5,000 parts per million by the year 2400.

And some research suggests that if lab mice ingest 5 gallons of milk a day, they explode.

The quoted statement is every bit as valid as the exploding mice statement!

This missive from BG takes SIX paragraphs to mention even ONE FRIGGING name. And then it is some putz from South Hampton - wherever.

Mr/Dr/Somebody Putz "compiled more than 1,500 estimates of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations drawn from 112 published studies" to reach this groundbreaking decision.

Studies, research, efforts and campaigns by Mr/Dr/Janitors/Somebody Putzs all over the globe are to be heeded because their warnings are so dire - over all the eons of 'ages' this planet has endured, and that we have to 'wake up' because the sky is falling and the temperature is out of norm - whatever the hell you can pin one of them to tell you actually is. Screw them. Money is the root and cure these charlatans seek, and they will lie, cheat, and steal to get it.

“Continuing to burn fossil fuels at the current rate COULD .....”

ONE word makes all the rest moot. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

“Man” meaning “humans”, are soooooo insignificant on this planet, that their ability to affect climate globally is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!

Termites FARTING, have a greater effect by numbers alone.

These “climate change” fanatics should help save the planet by collectively holding their breath ....permanently.
