Stanford IS the closest thing the west coast has to an Ivy League school.
But these ivies are losing it with their worship of PC. Nothing else matters to them but following globalist dogma to the letter. There is no original thought, nor even much careful, considered thought.

Try that with a job application.... Barista or Uber driver is your future.

I think these essays are completely meaningless, but I also doubt that anyone who filled the space with “Obama Sucks!” would have been accepted.
Because every Ivy League college needs more SJW’s who are potential future suicide bombers.

Imagine the “surprise” the faculty will get when every assignment he turns in will have the same words and format. Of course a student would want to be his lab partner or on a group project with him as they will get all A’s every time. They wouldn’t dare give him lesser grade as that would make them a racist.
But, what he’s already learned is .. I CAN GET MY WAY IF I JUST USE INTIMIDATION.

Not so fast. I once argued with a professor about false evolution indoctrination in today's educational programs.
He argued that in today's world a fundamental understanding of evolutionary process was the foundation of ALL SCIENCE. I informed him that I have a EET degree from Purdue and have had a successful career in the manufacture of electronics for decades but I believe not one aspect of evolution. HE said I was just lucky........the point is, if a student parrots the liberal line, the sky's the limit!
Another example: my daughter, when she was in college, had to do a project. This involved being part of a team. One member, an affirmative-action type, did nothing to contribute to the 4 member team. If the project was not completed, all 4 members of the team would get a failing grade. My daughter, who was not willing to see her grade compromised, did the affirmative-action flunky's work as well as her own! This affirmative-action type received the same grade as the rest of my daughter's group!!!
A perfect example of my daughter's white privilege working for this affirmative-action type.

Ah, yes, you’re right. I always think of Stanford that way, but it’s not an Ivy.
