Oh man, THIS is epic.
This is what happens when you take an intellectual gnat carrying nothing but talking points (Tapper), and have them interview a Subject Matter Expert (Ross).
Secretary Wilburine hilariously flicks off the stuttering gnat with an immediate Triple Farkas.
- Tapper: Muh Chinese currency manipulation? - Wilburine: Im the Secretary of Commerce not Treasury.
{..snip..}

The dishonesty of Tapper is incredible.
Tapper asks Ross about loans to sanctioned entities. Ross says not while he was there. Tapper asks about deposits. Ross correctly and exactly answers all big loans and deposits signed by board and he was aware of none while he was there.
So what does Tapper mutter quickly for a sneaky implication of unspoken impropriety?
“so there may have been smaller loans...”
Then - about the XO signings - Tapper tries to get Ross to give soundbite about ‘anyone’ in Trump administration that will call Trump out as wrong - and Ross, again, says ‘No ‘mistake’ was made - just to satisfy cameraman...’ - for which, again, Tapper tries to push his garbage about Trump too arrogant to accept ‘blame’ for nothing that was wrong.
What a complete jerk.
The interview serves only to prove the utter uselessness of CNN as a news organization. Did anyone get any information that was relevant to the Position Ross holds? If hey we’re real journalist they would be embarrassed about that interview. If you want to see more substantive info check out the most recent interviews from CNBC, Bloomberg or even Fox Business. CNN and NBC/MSNBC don’t make any effort to know what the administration is actually doing. It’s all his Russian fake news crap and interviews like this one
Wow! Now THAT is how to handle the gotcha questions from the scum at CNN!
That guy Wilbur Ross is REALLY, REALLY smart!
He wasn't having any of Tapper's fake news BS...
I don’t know anything about this guy, but the way he just handled Trapper was great! Epic.
I can hardly wait until someone brings up constitutional authority questions with this guy.
Go WR!
