For the first time in months I was able to go right back to sleep after waking at 3am. Wow! I shocked myself.

I just saw a loon swimming across the one stretch of open water along our shore. Most of the lake is still ice-covered but the ice is breaking up.
A sure sign of spring when the loons return! We love our loons :-)
Good for you! So hard to go back to sleep when you wake in the night.

Spring - yeah! We don’t have many loons around here - lots of ducks and some blue herons (fun to watch them) in the summer. And, there’s the huge Canadian Geese, which I hate - mean and messy.
I suspect Putin has had enough of the Dims (and some Pubbies) saying that Russia interfered in our elections. And, while the Press Sec’y can insist they did not, the Dims and msm will never believe him and keep harping on it b/c the Russia thing is all they’ve got going. Could be an interesting discussion though I really do not like George Snaglepuss at all!
