NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) News 2 has learned that Montgomery County State Senator Mark Green will be appointed next week as Secretary of the Army by President Donald Trump.
Green went to West Point and later served in Iraq before becoming a medical doctor.
While in Iraq, he was involved in the capture of Saddam Hussein and examined the Iraqi dictator in the first few hours after the capture.
Before being elected to the Tennessee Senate in 2012, Green began a hospital staffing company in Clarksville.
The senator announced earlier this year that he was running for governor of Tennessee, but the presidents upcoming announcement will take him in a different direction.
Green recently told WATE that no matter what job he does next, he just wants to keep serving
Heaven indeed! Thank you!
San Antonio does a fair job at going liberal. The Castro twin was mayor. They’re just scary, those two major invasion going on in that town besides. But Austin. We don’t talk about it much but friends will just say things like, on the way to A&M going through Austin we get tge holy water out. It’s not the news or events so much as a feeling. Exceptions to the late great and solid Christian Stevie Ray Vaughan whose memory and statue are there
Now get women out of front line combat units and cross dressers out of the Army.
Mixed emotions.... Dr. Greene was my choice for governor election coming up. Good guy, 2A supporter big time, been to my house and talk with him at the gun shop some times. Now who to support for governor????? DON’T WANT ANOTHER HASLAM RINO WUZZIE Mario supporter wanting to raise the gas tax again.
It is concerning, he was my choice for Governor, too. With an expected RINO orgy in the primary, this may force State Sen. Mae Beavers into the race to pick up Green’s baton.
Well the election is not until over 18 month from now. The secretary of the army is needed now.
State Senator.
A great big “Amen”, there Uncle Sam!!!
There are 11 GOP candidates running to replace Tom Price in GA 6th district. The Dem candidate, Jon Ossoff, is leading with 40%, but if you add up the polling results for the top 4 GOP candidates it’s 48%.
There is going to be a runoff in June, probably Ossoff against Karen Handel, former GA Sec. of State. Handel has been in GA politics for decades and will be a strong candidate against Ossoff.
Not as bad as poaching Zinke from the Montana Senate race but still a big poach.
“>>>Could this flip the balance of power in the Senate??????? Heard the dem is winning over the gop in the run for Sen Tom Prices seat......now this<<<
State Senator Mark Green”
______
Plus, Tom Price was a U.S. Representative, not a U.S. Senator.
My wife is thick with Beav
Not a fan of Brazilians, I take it ?
=running away=
.........well, take out the Liberals between 183 on the North, William Cannon on the south, Mopac Expressway on the West and Capitol of Texas Highway on the East and Travis County would vote R every time.
My point? It’s downtown Austin and immediate areas adjoining it that make it the liberal bastion that it is.
I expect we will soon hear from the Ultras that he is not conservative enough.
Now Texas isn’t conservative enough, hilarious.
Exactly my view
Honestly these days my ex has it hard taking care of her mom and almost got murdered by husband number five two years ago
Both myself and my second wife who I have been with exclusively of the past 20 plus years have empathy for her
It’s a big family with shared grandson so we know each other
But she is nutty and used to be dangerous
My wife here in Franklin on my homepage is pals with Beavers
Adores her
Wifey two ....is a Rutherford county lass of strong antebellum pedigree
Nice but not why I married her
Interesting. Close relatives know the doctor who performed the early exam and he was from LaGrange.
My bets are on Sen Mark Norris. Mae Beavers is acceptable though. Both excellent conservatives. Problem will be if corker tosses his hat in, he has the bucks, they don’t.
Corker’s scandals are known only to conservative voters who pay attention. The fact he is a RINO is also beyond their depth of knowledge.
