The Trump administration is appealing a Hawaii federal judge’s ruling blocking President Trump’s revised travel ban.
Attorneys from the Department of Justice appealed the earlier ruling on Thursday in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The move comes a day after U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson issued a longer-lasting hold on key provisions of Trump’s executive order.

I have a little different take on the situation. Sessions recused knowing there was nothing to the Trump/ Russia allegations. The last time Whitehouse lawyers went to the 9th circuit was before Sessions was confirmed, and they had their asses handed to them. This time Jeff has made sure the right people are making the appeal. The 9th has already signaled the full court knows the 3 judges issued a poor decision. To have the ninth overturn the Hawaii judge would be a major win on many levels for Trump and Sessions. If they don’t overturn it buys time to get Gorsuch in place.
Here we go again to the three ring 9th Circus! Nothing good is gonna come out of this. If Mitch Turtle Head cannot put Justice Gorsuch on SCOTUS then he should be removed as Maj Leader.

I don’t know how many subordinate lawyers a typical Atty.Gen usually has working for him in a Pres. Admin. I’m guessing at least half a dozen. My hope is Trump, or someone like Bannon put a couple of aggressive firebreathers on that legal team ASAP. I guess Sessions presumes he has a good four years to sort all this stuff out, maybe even eight years, so why rush?
At some point, Donald himself may take J. Session to lunch and ask him, “ Jeff, what is preventing you from kicking some liberal ass here and there?
What do you think has to be in place before we see more results? Me and the conservative American people really want to know.”
Asking for the court’s permission to be president, again.
What’s that about doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results?
So now we need the highest court in the land to puzzle out the clear meaning of simple English, in a law that even a 14 year old can understand?

Jeff Sessions had not been confirmed, he is NOW.
And Obama just bought his new home there.
The timing for the appeal is right. Gorsuch will be on the SC bench in two weeks. Yes, the 9th circus will uphold the Hawaii judge’s ruling and right after that the appeal goes to the SC where finally the 9th circus and all the forum shopped liberal district judges in that circuit will be overturned. No more forum shopping going forward in the 9th circuit now knowing that we will return to the era where 80 percent of 9th circuit rulings that are appealed will be overturned by the SC.
In the mean time send all Moslem Refugees to Hawaii.
Well I am waiting to see signs of life in the AG office. Maybe even a light in one of the windows. I see no fire in the belly. We have massive criminal violations in the bugging and unmasking of American citizens by the former administration including perhaps the Cia Director used against a political opponant!!.
